The warrior mindset isn’t really needed for most people because we’re in times of mostly peace unlike the olden days where people fought for their lives every day. But the storm will come, now is the calm. If you truly know this you can prepare as a warrior in the meantime, that’s all we can do for now, prepare and be ready.

There is much to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But in doing such things as passing under the eaves of house's you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning you will not be perplexed but still get the same soaking.

And respect earns power. - Ishida Mitsunari 0:55 A warrior is worthless unless he rises above others and stands strong in the midst of a storm. - Yamamoto Tsunetomo 1:09 Everyone feels fear. What a samurai or warrior is, is what you do when you feel fear. - Enson Inoue 1:23 It is good to face challenges in your youth. He who has never suffered will not sufficiently temper his character. - Yamamoto Tsunetomo 1:38 The art of peace does not rely on weapons or brute force to succeed: Instead, we put ourselves in tune with the universe. Maintain peace in our own realms, nurture life, and prevent death and destruction. The true meaning of the term samurai is one who serves and adheres to the power of love. - Morihei Ueshiba 2:11 I know nothing about surpassing others. I only know how to outdo myself. - Bushido 2:23 As a samurai, I must strengthen my character; As a human being I must perfect my spirit - Yamaoka Tesshu 2:38 Get beyond love and grief: exist for the good of man. - Miyamoto Musashi 2:50 The undisturbed mind is like the calm body water reflecting the brilliance of the moon. Empty the mind and you will realize the undisturbed mind. - Yagyu Jubei Mitsuyoshi 3:09 It is a wretched thing that the young men of today are so contriving and so proud of their material possessions. Men with contriving hearts are lacking in duty. Lacking in duty, they will have no self-respect. - Yamamoto Tsunetomo 3:31 It is the very mind that leads that mind astray - of the mind, do not be mindless. - Takuan Soho 3:46 This is the substance of the way of the samurai: If by setting one's heart right every morning and evening, one is able to live as though his body were already dead, he gains freedom in the way. His whole life will be without blame, and he will succeed in his calling. - Yamamoto Tsunetomo 4:13 I'm not a fighter, but in my mind, I'm fighting every day. 'What's new? What am I doing?' I'm fighting myself. My soul is samurai. My roots are not samurai, but my soul is. - Masaharu Morimoto 4:37 The samurai is the first to suffer anxiety for human society, and he is the last to seek personal pleasure. - Morihei Ueshiba 4:52 The discipline of strength instills resistance without complaint and also teaches courtesy. It demands that we not ruin the pleasure or serenity of others through the expression of our own sadness or pain. - Inazo Nitobe 5:14 When you give advice, you should first discern whether or not the other person is willing to accept it. - Bushido 5:27 If you embark on an uncharted path, infinite secrets will appear at the end. - Bushido

"The sane will never accomplish great things. Bushido is insanity unto death. If one stops to contemplate Bushido, the battle is lost. Scores of men cannot kill such a warrior." ~ Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei \ When you know who you are there is no more room for fear. You become unstoppable, courageous, a powerhouse with a purpose. This is a truth that can never be threatened. This is a truth that terrifies others who are confused about who they are. Amanda ⊕ @anandasolda Jun 12 1:17 Everyone feels fear. What a samurai or warrior is, is what you do when you feel fear. - Enson Inoue + “What is needed, rather than running away or controlling or suppressing or any other resistance, is understanding fear; that means, watch it, learn about it, come directly into contact with it. We are to learn about fear, not how to escape from it.” - Jiddu Krishnamurti \ “My "fear" is my substance, and probably the best part of me.” ― Franz Kafka \ “Bran thought about it. 'Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?' 'That is the only time a man can be brave,' his father told him.” ― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones 1:33 It is good to face challenges in your youth. He who has never suffered will not sufficiently temper his character. Yamamoto Tsunetomo \ Without difficulties, life would be like a stream without rocks and curves-about as interesting as concrete. Without problems, there can be no personal growth, no group achievement, no progress for humanity. But what matters about problems is what one does with them. Eeyores don’t overcome problems. No, it’s the other way around. - Benjamin Hoff, The Te of Piglet \ Jenny, I know your life is difficult, but the difficulties of life make us who we are. God knows I don't want you to suffer, but suffering and struggle are unavoidable. It's part of the whole deal. Everything you need is all around you, Jenny. - Bless the hart’s + The pressure is good for you 💎 4:16 I'm not a fighter, but in my mind, I'm fighting every day. 'What's new? What am I doing?' I'm fighting myself. My soul is samurai. M roots are not samurai, but my soul is. - Masaharu Morimoto \ What have you been up to? Just redesigning my DNA, freeing myself of ancestral trauma, mastering my soullessons… You know… cultivating space for the abundant flow that I am. Giving thanks for it all!!!

0:29 Today is victory over yourself of yesterday; tomorrow is your victory over lesser men. - Miyamoto Mushashi \ “Being a gentleman has nothing to do with one's accent. It's about being at ease in one's own skin. As Hemingway said, "There is nothing noble... in being superior to your fellow man. True nobility is being superior to your former self." Harry Hart (Kingsman) 2:14 I know nothing about surpassing others. I only know how to outdo myself. - Bushido \ “Transformation is my favorite game and in my experience, anger and frustration are the results of you not being authentic somewhere in your life or with someone in your life. Being fake about anything creates a block inside of you. Life can’t work for you if you don’t show up as you.” ― Jason Mraz \ “Absorb what is useful, discard what is not, add what is uniquely your own,” ― Bruce Lee *exformation 2:24 As a samurai, I must strengthen my character; As a human being, I must perfect my spirit. - Yamaoka Tesshu \ “Millions of people never analyze themselves. Mentally they are mechanical products of the factory of their environment, preoccupied with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, working and sleeping, and going here and there to be entertained. They don’t know what or why they are seeking, nor why they never realize complete happiness and lasting satisfaction. By being robots, conditioned by their environment. True self-analysis is the greatest art of progress.” - Paramahansa Yoganandya \ Great works do not involve discarding substance.
