Bushkill Park Flooding August 4, 2020 due to the remnants of hurricane Isaias.

Great news.. all of the new kiddie rides which had been restored during the last 2 years, survived this flood and was actually running this past Sunday August 30th, 2020 with a special event that had been held. The rink's floor still needs quite a bit of work, but they are planning on re opening hopefully some time in October!

That park needs a seawall, despite the flood water not being sea water.

100% agree. They have a sea wall but it is about two feet too short to be useful.

Sad, but these floods have been happening here for many many years. I really enjoyed that park in the 1970s at the roller rink. Is that rink still there? I havent lived in Easton since the eighties.

The rink is still there but unfortunately the floor buckled during the flooding. The park is hoping to have the rink back open in a few months but there is a lot of work that needs to be done first.

@@howardsmith3841 I hope it can be repaired and opened back up. Great memories skating there as a kid growing up in Easton!
