Haha unfortunately not. I still paid for this fridge but just with a discount for promotional purposes. Unfortunately they don't make a lot of money from each sale so they can't offer a discount code

I filmed it yesterday afternoon. This isn't a national park. If you can find a way in past the water your fine lol. I noticed Lyrup flats are also closed. I just arrived at Lake bonney and camping here tonight. Hoping the clouds clear later so I can get some astro shots 👍

They just released it. It's a knock off of the bushman's. I'm very surprised they were legally allowed to do it. I trust bushman's brand and warranty much more than I do adventure kings

No so bushman’s or kings don’t build them. What happens is a company like bushmans will have exclusive rights to the fridge in the aus market for a period of time then it expires. Then in comes a company like kings and instead of putting say a 200% mark up like bushman’s they only do 75% mark up with 5 years warranty.

Personally I never have to defrost mine. They obviously have it turned up too high. It goes up to 7 but I never have mine above 2 or 3 even in summer. If you have it up too high it also draws a lot of power. I've never had any issues with circulation either. 90% of the time you never have it fully loaded anyway. It's only if your doing a trip you fully load it. There is a hack where you can install a fan inside the fridge easily if you are concerned about circulation

Thanks for the fast reply and I appreciate your honesty, as always. I get by with my 40L (so i think ill struggle to over pack and have circulation issues) but the weight saving is huge, it also lets me put a 50L water tank behind the fridge (can't do that with my engel) as space in a wagon can be pretty tight. That would then let me get rid of the jerry can swing away on my rear bar reducing even more weight A lot of the owners post nothing but bad things on the bushman hacks Facebook group so it tends to talk people out of buying one. But I'll have to take your word for it of you vouch for it.

Ahaha that's true. I'll be buying a whole drawer system to suit the upright so I'm just doing my homework as overall it'll be a big investment. But yeah, the weight adds up quick. Having a 40L freezer would be handy on long trips too All of the happy owners don't generally post about it, they're off enjoying it, and that's why you only hear the "horror" stories. I wouldn't worry about the wasted space too much You just need to stack cans up the top & bigger bottles down the bottom. Not much you can do about the freezer besides run the fridge a bit higher temperature. The freezer actually helps cool the fridge so if you try and block it the fridge won't be as efficient

With the bushman's the higher the number the colder it is meaning it draws more power. Are you sure you aren't supposed to run that on 2 or 3 like the bushman's?

a bloke i work with has the kIngs he said its the best fridge he has owned it dosent ice up like the bushmans

King's have copied this fridge after this video was released. Everyone copies everyone now unfortunately
