Күн бұрынYou'd never know if from all the cranes in the sky, but construction is beginning to slow in Toronto. Plus, VIA Rail is adding some extra train cars, but it has nothing to do with growing ridership. Richard Southern explains.

Construction is slowing because winter is coming. It should pick up in the spring. Buffer cars aren't much help in a derailment since many cars will wind up sideways.

Yeah but people like gardens not just a literally a Box in house with no backyard we want affordable housing with backyard not tall buildings

Affordable. Backyard. Toronto. That’s funny! How are you supposed to make it affordable and give everyone a big boomer backyard??

1950s American housing suburbs are outdated and have completely destroyed city finance as infrastructure has to be maintained but bring not revenue compared to compact areas.
