Determining the best way to organize your sales team is important. For example, a sales representative used to sell to a given region might feel frustrated when asked to sell just one product nationwide. Similarly, if each of your company's products requires deep and specific technical knowledge, it might not make sense to have sales representatives sell all products by territory. Therefore, the structure of your sales team matters, because it can affect the sales that you make and the revenue you bring in.
