Not to take a back seat or be downbeat, but now that they're complete, word on the street is Jeet's sheets are really neat, were hung without a cleat, can take the heat, and can't be beat. Best in the entire fleet. Stronger than concrete. Will definitely keep out the sleet. Gonna be a sweet suite.

Some thoughts. I will bet Metal Supermarket has a hydraulic shear. If you went down there with the sheet metal dimensions when you bought the metal, the cut charge would have been minimal. Also, you should probably either get a drill sharpener or buy a bunch of bits. Dull bits suck. It would also help if you lubed them a bit with either cutting oil or a cutting wax stick. Very nice work.

Progress is a blessing, being able to have a roof over the bus is the best. I'm stuck outside in my driveway my garage is vertically challenged and not getting much accomplished 🤏 here in Ohio Glad you guys can have fun while being accomplished 🚌 ☮️

For low guage sheet metal they make a blade you can use in a circular saw for metal. Makes nice fast clean cuts better then a jigsaw.

A nibbler or air shears would work too and no sparks. Seeing him cut it with a jigsaw drives me crazy.

This is exactly what I did with my bus too. It looks amazing just like your bus now but wow I hated doing it haha. Drill out rivets, drill new sheet metal, rivet the holes, drill out the rivets that messed up, rivet again. Haha I must’ve used 30 drill bits

OMFG I almost pissed myself when you filled up the riveter with oil !!!! when it says oil….it’s ONLY 2 DRIPS PER DAY through the air fitting ! DO NOT FILL WITH OIL ! even my wife knows that and couldn’t stop laughing….and she’s not mechanically inclined ! We couldn’t stop laughing at the oil shots down the side as the oil blew out and the shots slowly got smaller ! Thanks for the laugh !

Rivet guns help out a ton. But those harbor freight ones break. And it's always when in the middle of something. Definitely buy a good one. And don't put all that oil in it.

It's a BIG shop - something like 60x30, and the side walls are at least 12 feet. It's gonna take a lot of work (and more than a few volunteers) to get the shop winterized. But it will be great when that's done.

You guys are killing me 🤣😂... You only need 3 or 4 drops of oil for the rivet gun. Putting too much oil may damage the o-rings. Keep it roll-in

I'm replacing some metal skin on a vintage teardrop trailer and I'm wondering what you do to seal the riveted seam. I've read silicone bead, super thin putty tape. Any recommendations? Do you use anything?

Nice project . I'd prob not buy air tools from harbor freight . Especially a air rivoter. Your going to use the crap out of it. Buy a quality one you won't regret it
