How to Build a Rock Bouncer Chassis

Күн бұрынToday Jake Burkey is going to show you how to build a rock bouncer chassis the Busted Knuckle Off Road way. Building a rock buggy chassis can be very time consuming and difficult. The way we used to build these by hand would take weeks to get perfect. Now that we have the right equipment in the form of a custom Jig Table, Bend Tech Tube Dragon A250 CNC tube notcher, and Baleigh CNC Tubing Bender we have cut that time down to a matter of a few days. Follow along as we show you the easy way to build a chassis and how we make sure each one is perfect every time. 30 years ago fabrication in the US Navy we did this by eye and guessing how much snap back with large pipe on a bender . Wow Your chassis are super tight . Awesome job .

Nothing wrong with doing it all by hand. This equipment just allows us to do a better job, faster, and for a better price for the end user.

Wow, that Bend-tech program is awesome! I’ve always wondered how you bent your tuning. Sure ya didn’t always have Bend-tech so this must speed things up tremendously and also cuts down on wasted material drastically I bet. Really cool!

Gonna be funny when Busted Knuckle has enough production to drop total costs for a buggy under some SXS's.

I doubt they ever get that cheap. But the SXS market is getting more expensive. The good thing with our builds is they are ready to ride hard unlike most SXS off the showroom floor that require thousands more in upgrades to stay together.

How is Rock Bouncer classified? Class 1 means = Engine power, weight, length, wheel size! Class 2 means = Engine power, weight, length, wheel size! Class 3 means = Engine power, weight, length, wheel size! Class 4 means = Engine power, weight, length, wheel size! Class 5 means = Engine power, weight, length, wheel size! SRRS and what do they do? NRRN and what do they do? Is there a central website for total information about rules, organizations, season starts. I really like these vehicles.

For quality purposes we won’t be doing any weld it yourself kits. We just can’t chance having our brand associated with someone else’s welds.
