It's easy to do that from a distance, but if he was there in the moment, it wouldn't be so easy when the pressure is on. I do think he should give it a shot though if offered, but he is too loyal to WWE and Busted Open. WWE would blackball him if he worked at AEW.

RVD spent almost his entire ECW run calling himself Mr Monday Night and teased going to WWF or WCW all the time and the ECW crowd still loved him. So i do have an issue with Bully's assertion that if anybody on the ECW roster cut a promo saying they were leaving, would get them mega-heat. You could probably even throw Steve Austin's run in there too, since most of it was him cutting promos on Bischoff, yet saying he would be back in the big leagues.

And if you recall that story line then you know that some ECW Wrestlers appeared and worked at several WWE Shows and some WWE Wrestlers worked some WWE Shows. Professional Wrestling Fans are intelligent enough to know when 2 Professional Wrestling Promotions are working a storyline that goes back and forth between Professional Wrestling Promotions. Moreover there were Wrestlers form other Professional Wrestling Promotions who worked ECW Shows many times over the life of ECW.

She asked for it because for years, she was at the mercy of stupid decisions by Vince and his staff of idiots. And her career at times suffered from it, especially between 2017 and 2019. So good for her for seeking approval to try and use her wrestling mind to make stories and feuds that excite her and can elevate others.

As for the second title, both titles were up for grabs and it would be stupid to let someone from a smaller promotion come in and pin one of your biggest stars on your turf. Unless her next match involves her winning the world title, let’s just chill with the “SHE’S BOOKING HERSELF TO WIN!” medley. She’s a bigger asset to the division than if she were against them in WWE.

That was the first time I heard Mercedes booed at AEW. I don't agree with them saying the crowd was booing Mercedes, because they don't like her. The Celtics just won the championship and they know how big of a Red Sox and Celtics fans Mercedes is. The crowd was chanting "F The Red Sox" and "F The Celtics" I'm sure there are many Knicks and Yankees fans in the crowd, and they were just trying to have some fun and get under her skin. I think it was more of the area they were in, because she normally doesn't get booed.

Exactly. It was Long Island being Long Island. They booed Punk 2 years ago even though he was the most over star in AEW simply because he was feuding with their boy MJF. They have too much money invested in Mercedes. She has to be a babyface to make it work. If she’s a heel, it won’t be as profitable because she needs a star on her level to make money with. Britt is good, but she is not on that level with Mercedes. Nobody is on that level in AEW’s women’s division unless they actually do the unthinkable and sign Becky Lynch. Right now, Mercedes has to be a babyface. Maybe they can have Britt as a tweener or just stick with being the heel, but Mercedes cannot turn heel just yet.

I have this odd feeling that a little bit of old AEW is creeping in here when I say that what I mean, is that if there were plans for Brit ready to come back now, then some of the moves with Mercedes in AEW seem more planned than I thought possibly. Mercedes is not classic heel, but she’s not really playing up a Babyface roll either and I think they’re doing it on purpose because they knew Britt was coming back. There is no way you’re gonna tell me that Tony Kahn has no idea that Britt was already ready to go. Before Britt had to leave she always told everybody whether she was heal or face that AEW belong to her and she was AEW. Honestly, nothing at forbidden door showed me that Brett was heal.

I was (still am) very excited when Mercedes joined AEW, for obvious reasons. She is a superb addition to any roster, end of discussion. However, when she said that she still wanted to go back to WWE I immediately lost all interest in her as a babyface. I'm an AEW fan, I want this company to get the best wrestlers out there but I can't stand seeing a wrestler use this company as a stepping stone to get back to the bigger company one day. Mercedes, at least to this day, hasn't been able to shake off the fans' feeling that she intends on going back, so why should an AEW fan cheer her? Her being a heel now against Britt makes all the sense in the world, and Britt should 100% use Mercedes's words in that interview against her. I also agree with Bully's booking that includes Thunder Rosa and Saraya, I'd watch that storyline develop any day of the week.

WWE try to make becky Lynch I heal when she came back and that was a disaster because the fans didn’t want anything to do with that no matter how much she tried to be a heel the fans kept cheering for her until they had to rework it.

Guys idk I’m sure so talent just love being in AEW but I’m sure that a lot of talent in AEW are gonna stay in AEW til AEW bankrupts! Wide would MJF or anyone like him go to WWE when sticking with AEW at this point in time they getting paid very well to wrestle less, preserve there health while still building there stock their and everything else they getting out of being in AEW to go to WWE! They being smart to milk AEW til they no longer can milk em no more and then head to WWE before AEW sinks deep into the ocean! Don’t get me wrong I’d love to see people like MJF in WWE but I also understand why he’s chosen to remain in AEW! Its a smart move its the same reason alot of former WWE talents that has left for AEW so they can get that Bag from AEW for now while working less! It’s a no brainer for those talents taking advantage of TK and AEW while it’s still good! Plus it also great because talent can make good money while also having another company with a good budget to work for! It be awesome to see AEW stay around for the long term cause it give talents and extra place to work at that pays good a lot of talent deserves, and has earned there rights to make a better living for themselves and families! Either way regardless of why some talent decides to stay with it go to AEW is good for business just like a lot of WWE talent will resign and stay with WWE its a win win for the Business so the longer AEW can stay at float it will be great for business! I just want to see all my favorite wrestling talent do their thing where ever they can even if it not in either WWE or AEW, theres NJPW, TNA, MLW, GCW, NWA plus the promotions in the UK, Japan, Mexico. Canada and the USofA with all the Indie promotions every where!

Talking about Britt Vs Mercedes Britt was overexposed and had to go away for a while, she got this reception because nobody likes Mone but the Horndogs that fantasize about all the Joshi Girls, the AEW fans don’t like Mone, and they’ll cheer Britt until they remember she’s no better than Mone on the Mic and her character work leaves a lot to be desired

I agreed but at least when she was Sasha banks in wwe she was good as a baby face, she seems better there this CEO is just not working with me and I'm not the only one the entire arena was booing her ass off

Here is the thing tho. Brit Baker is waaaaay better as a heel, only because she hasn't been booked well as a babyface. Considering her last run as a babyfaces, before her hiatus wasn't as good as her heel runs. All thoes matches bully mentioned vs Rosa, Brit Baker was a heel. The Pop is well deserved, but if you want her a babyface. How about they at least try this time. Mercedes is definitely not babyface material, thats a proven fact. But that promo your suggesting Brit should cut, may not be received well. Mercedes would have to agree to get buried live. Because once that prom gets cut, she will never get over with AEW fans. It would be boxing her in a corner.
