Cage is an actor that has no fear. He doesn't always make great movies but he does always deliver when it comes to acting. Probably one of the greatest actors of this generation, personally i have never seen him turn in a bad performance.

Yes. The John Williams book is an absolute masterpiece. As a western novel it's right up there with Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian". It's hard to see how the film will be able to replicate the scale of the buffalo massacre without CGI. That aspect worries me. Willam's follow up novel "Stoner" is an even better book, totally different in tone and style. It's a shame Williams isn't better known.

I read the book this year. It’s not very well known. It’s often referenced with the more publicized novel Stoner by the same author, John Williams. The story was contemplative and haunting. I really didn’t picture Nick Cage in that roll but interested to see.
