Butler Tarkington in Indianapolis is right in the heart of Indianapolis. It's a quaint and historic neighborhood located right next to Butler University with plenty to offer. A location that can be walkable to many cool places nearby along with some historic homes with plenty of character and charm. Downtown Indianapolis is extremely close... not necessarily walkable (although I've done that once before) but just a few minute drive. The restaurant scene in nearby Meridian Kessler helps to make Butler Tarkington a great place for foodies. Living next to Butler University could give you the wrong idea about the neighborhood. You might think it would have a very "college" feel but most of Butler Tarkington is quite residential and quiet. It can be difficult to tell you live next to Butler University. With all the unique feel and beauty, this Indianapolis neighborhood is has been popular for a long time and will continue that way into the future.
