Join us as we head to Butlin's Minehead Resort in this series of vlogs! In this video we share everything we got up to on the first day of our holiday, including a full tour of our Standard Room. We also head to the Fairground and share on ride POV's from all of the different rides on offer. Along with that we take you on a tour of the Skyline Pavilion along with sharing highlights from the awesome entertainment throughout the 4 different venues on New Years Eve!

Know at Minehead they are supposed to be having a big indoor activity centre. The tug boat was making that noise when we was there in the summer

I worked in Butlins pwllheli in 1990. As an 18 year old & it being my first job & away from home, it was brilliant. Basically being paid to be on holiday.

Havent been to Butlins since I was a kid and must admit I remember it with great fondness. The unlimited rides were amazing for a kid, there was entertainment, food, arcades and so much fun. Wouldnt go now, but it was great back then.

I went to minehhead last year and I found it quite good but not quite as good as Skeggness (the one i go to the most). Also, you know the pins in the gift shop, I have over 100 of them after going every year once or twice since i was like 6

Many happy memories from my childhood , we used to go to butlins clacton every summer before it closed , we were gutted as we loved it there especially the big theatre shows in the gaiety theatre then for a few years we went to butlins Skegness but it was never the same as clacton for us , these days they won’t let single people go on a summer break anymore so I haven’t been for a long time but for me it’s not the butlins I remember from being a kid but glad you had a nice new years and can’t wait for Australia

Seems like it was the same nearly stormy weather at the other side of the channel. Well, I know Minehead is technically across and then around if you keep sitting on your imaginative ship, but wind doesn't care about that, ey? It just blows across, doesn't care wether over land or sea. We're in fairer weather now this video is up. Thank god. Happy new year and best wishes!

Wow the memories!! I went to Butlins Minehead when I was 10ish and I still remember a lot from that trip. I have photos of me on the paratrooper and the waltzer, they both look EXACTLY the same. As does most of the rest of the park. Watching this is like being transported back to my childhood. 😂💕

When I went back there in March last year the dodgems were not working Which when I went there the first time round to Butlins minehead I spent about over an hour on the dodgems because it was not busy

behind the boating lake,the building used to be where you went for breakfast and lunch. i remember taking bread from the building directly outside and feeding the ducks. the swimming pool was further down. happy days.

I never went to Minehead Butlins as a child, Skegness was my butlins, but I remember seeing it advertised in the brochures and being marketed as the higher class butlins compared to Skeggie

It’s worth noting, at Bognor and MInehead they are building a new indoor leisure building, which will house things like interactive games, laser tag, etc.

I stayed there last year in a silver apartment I think, it was a great week loads to do with my grandson, accomadation was absolutly fine, the pool awesome, the acts & staging really impressive, such good value for money

I've stayed there back in the 80's when I was a Child. Don't know why they refurbished it and got rid of the underwater bar, monorail and cable cars

The upside down ride at Minehead was called Sky Master, sad it’s gone. One of my favourite all time rides from my Minehead days. Also the big red building was the swimming pool

Just come back ourselves from minehead for newyear. Done every year for the past 13 except for lockdown year obvs. Another fantastic year. Entertainment fab, food in premium dining absolutly beautiful. Well done butlins. Been going to butlins for 35 years. Although some major changes over the years. Still manages to give kids the full thrill they seek when away on holidays.

Stayed here for 4 days with my partner during the 2018 World cup. Cost us £70 plus whatever we spent on drinks and I have you simply can't knock this place. The sports bar was incredible, tribute acts were solid and the choice of places to eat were fantastic too. Would highly recommend for a cheap getaway

I stayed there with my family in the 1980s , there used to be a monorail and a chairlift and the fun fair had a trabant, paratrooper, gallopers, dodgems, big wheel and a large train and car tracked ride. And it also had a minuature railway

There was a double swing invertor ship when i worked in Minehead back in 2003 ! The top spin was originally at brighton pier in 1999/2000 then painted purple it opened at bognor Regis butlins then moved to Skegness after bognor

I'd love to visit Butlin's again as an adult, I used to go to Minehead Butlin's every year from about the age of 5 to 12, and whenever we visit Minehead, I always remember happy times spent there during the October half term!

I’ve been there many times for madness house of fun weekender (adult weekend) 9 times in fact. Was great to see it in a different environment. You stood in the spot where I proposed to my wife ❤. Great video as always
