10 million took half day to render. The challenge was mostly to render anything that looked as something more than flat, gray area. There is still space for improvement and better adjustement of alpha blending properties, but it takes a lot of time to prototype and draw.
Separated videos for each N:
00:00 • Chaos with 1 Double Pe... N=1
00:06 • Chaos with 10 Double P... N=10
00:17 • Chaos with 100 Double ... N=100
(1000 not included: • Chaos with 1000 Double... ) N=1000
00:30 • Chaos with 10000 Doubl... N=10000
00:57 • Chaos with 100000 Doub... N=100000
01:13 • chaos with one million... N=1000000
01:46 • Is there 10000000 (10^... N=10000000
Music: F. Chopin, Fantaisie - Impromptu, Op. 66,

This is incredibly beautiful, the transparency adds a huge amount imo, because it means the relatively few pendulums that fall in-between a separation event don't stop you tracking future layers. Plus the fact it turns white by end accurately represents the fact that you couldn't retroactively calculate any of the trajectories 😃 Thanks for trying to implement our ideas ♥️

Thanks. I have some idea how to actually show more of those 10000000 pendulums but I must rewrite rendering procedures for that, so more will come ;)

And you are right about turning white at the end! This is it.

What's most interesting for me is that there are two groups of pendulums that split away from each other first. It can be seen for example at around 2:02, with the blue and orange groups. Seems like there is a single step in the initial conditions that causes a rapid divide.

Nice, thx. I think that may be the 0 group on left and group on right that were initially deviated from 0 angle

the thing i like about these chaotic renders is that if we had an infinitely capable and complex brain that was capable of tracking all of the pendulums individually, there would probably be few things more beautiful to us

this is beatiful, but the pendulums that are dark colored on a dark background coupled with youtube's compression is probably not the best choice imho

Bro why do all these pendulum animators have such good music taste?? I'm here at 00:30 just vibing with the song while watching colors dance on my screen, and it feels like heaven. Peaceful, simple, beautiful, calm, and a place to rest

there aren’t enough atoms in the universe to write a googolplex even if you can line atoms up and stamp them with digits, you can’t write a googolplex.

@official-obama
@official-obama Жыл бұрын
@@69420guyhaha no, that's not even close. if there was 1 googol pendulums, about every atom in the universe would have to have another universe inside them, and then some of the atoms inside the mini-universes would have to calculate pendulums it would clearly take a very long time, and 1 googol is about as far as you can go, because after that your computer can't know when to stop. computers store numbers by writing them out as digits, so a googolplex is infeasible you would probably need arbitrary precision integers, because it's 333 bits long to just write a googol.
