She has so much strength in that little body of hers! And she was definately born in pointe shoes.

this is INCREDIBLE. honestly, no one has any idea what strength (etc) that takes unless you've been in pointe shoes. x)

Ok so check this out. She is doing a PROMENADE, EN POINTE, ON HIS HEAD. It's like, fairly impossible for many, many professional dancers to promenade en pointe, let alone on somebody's HEAD. Wow. This couple is amazing. Art...entertainment...whatever. I would just like to applaud them solely for their amazing body strength. Holy cow.

It's very beautiful, I remember my mom telling me about this, because it was her favorite story, about the butterfly lovers, but this doesn't seem like a ballet... because I think ballets usually focuses on the overall performance with much emphasis on the emotional portrayal through dancing, instead of each individual trick, which was what this was more like... Acrobatics...

Wow. Amazing. I didn't believe it when I saw the photo in the Dance magazine. They do stuff even more amazing than the picture. Chinese acrobats are incredible!!! It's mind-boggling what human bodies can achieve.

im sorry i've been dancing for almost 14 years now and i just really cannot belive this it an't be real it's physically impossible!

There's only one pair in the world I've ever seen dance like that...the dancers are definitely Wu Zhengdan and Wei Baouhua from the Chinese State Circus. (Look up their version of Swan Lake here on youtube. It's as incredible as this).

she' is incredible and so is he but notice how she's reaching for a things like there's a bar up there or something and also how they blur the top of the stage. and how the captions sas FILM&ANIMATION. i belive alot of this but dont you think if she was good enough to do a freakin' backbend completly split that she wouldn't be dancing with acrobats anymore either would he they would both be huge here dancing for ABT. she can't be that limber and be that strong to. So please assure me

Impossible i believe some of this and i can see some of this actually being real footage but there's no way that girl could do half the stuff she did on his head actually on his head he'd be way to tired and shakey from the other lifts he would not be able to have her standing on his shoulders or on his head on point it's just impossible. And like it says on the caption it's animations

i love this. but the thing about it is that this isn't a ballet. sure she has pointe shoes on and she has clearly had training in classic ballet. but this is a ballet. it's more gymnastics. which is fine, and completely flawless. but definately not a ballet.

Thoes are so not genorminden pointe shoes. That ballet is too acrobatic. Those people should become gymnests. They are nothing compared to the Kirov but are extremely flexible and amazingly strong with owsome balance.

It emphasized each movement she made, instead of the overall structure, which can be seen through how the people clap after each trick, rather than after each whole performance... or maybe it's just a bad audience, because I think in ballet, you're not supposed to clap until the end of each performance.
