Buttermilk Kuzhambu is a Traditional South Indian dish prepared with slightly sour yogurt and coconut. It is easy to prepare and needs very less ingredients. It goes well with hot steamed rice and adai. It can be made in a jiffy. Brinjal fry, potato fry, raw banana fry, ivy gourd curry are some of the side dishes which goes well with mor kulambu. Mor kuzhambu can be make with other vegetables like chayote (chow chow), ladiesfinger, colocasia (Seppankizhangu). Do try this easy recipe and leave your feedback in the comment section.

I follow your recipes for a long time even before you came to KZfaq. I have a question. Morekuzhambu should be thick or thin? Thanks.

Thank you. So happy to know that you love my recipes. Traditional Tamil Mor Kuzhambu should neither be too thick nor thin. Instant mor kuzhambu (veddika vitta mor kulambu) will be thin. Mor Kuzhambu is made in all the states with slight variations. Only the name is different like kadhi, moru curry etc.
