Maam i am using another formula in which the order is given by the formula N = log{(10^-kp/10 - 1)/(10^-ks/10 - 1)}/2log(wp/ws) and not getting the order =4... Can you explain why so?

I have a question...as omega tends to infinity. For a Butterworth filter, Why does the magnitude of the frequency response tend to (omega/omega_c)^-N and not 0...,where omega_c is cutoff frequency

@@andyralph9495 Maximum attenuation. Ideally we take 0 magnitude response if omega tends to infinite .(No signal will pass)
