I like your pre-cracking technique to get that garlicy butter flavor in the crab. Looks like a real treat meal for sure😊👍

Hey Bobbi! The pre-cracking makes all the difference. When it’s time to eat, there’s no fighting. Just tasty crab meat

@@dadbodbbq what temperature do you shoot for
@dadbodbbq Жыл бұрын
Since most crab legs come fully cooked and flash frozen, (I’m assuming this is how yours are as well) you could literally thaw them completely and eat straight from the shell. Always use safe food guidelines approved by the FDA. However, to get these nice and warmed up for dinner, I like to put a touch of char on them and get the internal temp up to about 145 degrees F. If you make a little drawn garlic butter to dip into, it’s decadent and fantastic.

@@dadbodbbq thank you for your advice I am making drawn smoked garlic butter. We are also smoking and reverse searing a 6 lb prime rib

How did it turn out?

Switch your junk Kingsford out with lump coal. Never cook with that stuff it’s got a lot a additives and by products in that stuff. Cook with straight lump coal. Better taste cleaner cook and all natural. Crab looks amazing though wish I had a bite. 😂
@dadbodbbq Жыл бұрын
It’s Jealous Devil. No additives.

It’s giant King Crab legs covered with garlic butter. What did you expect? Would you prefer I said it didn’t taste good? It was so good I still think about them every time I see these for sale. Make them yourself and apply your own negative reaction, if you feel the need for that type of thing.

Hey, genius. They're King Crab legs soaked in butter and kissed by fire-not a bowl of soggy cereal. Of course, the chef's going to serenade their own culinary masterpiece. Why don't you take your refined palate to a boiled haggis tutorial? That should be bland enough not to offend your obviously delicate sensibilities.

Um, why in the world would anyone put out a cooking video to cook something that tasted bad? Your comments make absolutely no sense. Troll much?

i dont think this is right. and i dont even grill crab ever. but alas, i will try this

Already cooked but uses a thermometer lol

Yes, because eating crab legs at 100 degrees versus 145 degrees is a different experience.
