Kipping is probably the single dumbest thing I’ve seen in the gym. Like worse than whatever exercises the ww2 vets are doing from back in the day
@FoxHound_ActualАй бұрын
I used to think this way, but you're wrong. Kipping is an extremely technical and difficult movement. It focuses on explosive power and control. I can do 15+ strict form pull-ups. Recently I've been learning to kip, and I can tell you, even with the fundamental strength to do normal pull-ups, it is anything but easy and a valid exercise that allows you to push into rep ranges that would not be possible otherwise.

My old grandma had a saying that you should think about then try to achieve. “If you don’t have something nice to say then keep your mouth shut.” Implement that in your life and who knows you might find that being a decent human being agrees with you.
@keithmerkel7542 Жыл бұрын
@@singlespeedcrossbike My grandma told me, if someone's a liar and is fooling people, I should call out their bullshit. She said that would make me a descent human being. She also told me not to make comments hiding behind a fake name. Not so descent. I miss grandma

Go on somewhere Barbara. Hammer curl, reverse curl, straight bar curl, ez bar curl. Strict pull up, weighted pull-up, kipping pull-up, butterfly pull-ups. It’s called variance. To touch some grass lady.

I think there is mobility benefits from doing these types...but strict form also is beneficial for gains and development.

@@garyesparza0314there’s variance and then there’s that nonsense Gumby mess they are throwing out. No fxl benefit for muscle gain or endurance
