My gen3 CR-V is a very good, utilitarian car. I’ve replaced the starter and the AC compressor as well as the cat converter, so it’s not flawless. Mine also burns a little oil, which evidently is common for the 2011 year. It’s not a car that excites. It’s a car that is great for hauling kids, dogs, and stuff. The older it gets, the more I like it.

I forgot to mention also that the Real Time 4WD is fantastic. With good tires, it's really difficult to get stuck in the snow of the upper Midwest. It is not as sure-footed as our '98 Subaru Outback was, but it always gets me where I need to go. As with any AWD, though, it's good at moving you forward, but it doesn't help you stop any faster!

I have a 1999 Silverado 362k on it mind u rebuilt almost everything lol
