Dynasty Trades In 5 is a dynasty trade show that focuses on dynasty fantasy football trade strategy, rookie draft pick values, individual player profiles, etc. For each player we discuss whether or not they are a dynasty trade target for 2022 and 2023, and if we lean sell vs. buy. We also get in depth on the 2022 rookie draft class, the 2023 rookie draft class, and dynasty rookie pick values in general. We don't do dynasty mock drafts yet, but perhaps we will in the future! There are many great resources available to the community, whether it be articles, dynasty trade calculators, trade finders, etc. We try to focus on short form content that is digestible and relevant. JSN was the third option in his offense. I can understand y people are down on him but he didnt have a terrible rookie year after he got healthy. We got spoiled with some of the rookies in the past 3 to 4 years starting out great out of the gate.

I sold Ferg in a 2 PPR start 12 for Fant & 2.07, couldn’t get more back was that a solid deal given the format? Figured I could use the 2.07 in a trade up or another deal.

Traded JSN and McBride (.5 TE P) for T Law, Deebo, 24 2.11, 25 2nd How’d I do? Have CeeDee, Amon Ra, Olave, and Ridley. Felt like I had to pull the trigger even though I love JSN and expect him to smash this year

Fant has never been close to TE1 on the season, let alone done it twice. Not sure what that guy is talking about. Best finish he had was 13 as Scott mentioned.

Comparing Tee Higgins (actual good at football) to JSN (had an awful rookie year) is not a fair comparison at all lol. Yes they are both behind other receivers, but one has been actually productive for fantasy football and the other has not. And Scott called Shane out for player takes! The anti Tee is just a player take, hes in the tier and is a solid option, JSN is way more volatile.

Tee Higgins best fantasy finish has been WR18 yet he has been valued/perceived by the market at times to be the WR10-12 in Dynasty. He gets moved to a WR needy team like LAC, AZ, NE he is going to fly back up the WR rankings into that range and will have to have the expectation to finish at minimum as a Top12 WR. I believe that is the point Scott is making with JSN. JSN starts out 2024 like Puka Nacua did in 2023 and he may quite literally be valued as a Top 5 WR in Dynasty. That is in the range of outcomes for both players.

Unless the Chargers add a super stud receiver, I would go after Josh Palmer. He was good last year when healthy and now doesn't have to share targets with Williams and Allen. You can get him cheap.

@@davidsheehan3966 Palmer has really stepped up his first two years when injuries to Williams and Allen happened. I think there is a reason the Charges let Williams and Allen go. We will see what happens in the draft, but right now Palmer is the #1 receiver for the Chargers and that is not a roster clogger.

@@davidsheehan3966 Palmer was playing hurt most of last season before they finally shut him down. Otherwise he probably gets about 1000 years on a team that was a disaster. Right now he is the #1 receiver and at worst #2. We are looking for upside, and at the absolute worse he is a flex or replacement on bye weeks and for injuries. Palmer will be active in your lineup several time during the season at worse and that is not a clogger, especially what you can pick him up for.

Scott i usually love your takes but that adams and addison take was brutal lol. This is dynasty. Nobody is trading addison for adams unless there is a first coning back with adams or its week 9 and addison is hurt and the current owner is very win now. My jaw legit dropped when you were saying it doesnt seem right you gotta add a 3rd to devante to get addison. Still love you but that one blew me away haha. More the 9 year age gap than any short term production gap.

This is why Adams made his 'Buy List'. He could send Addison for Adams and get a plus, according to KTC. What would you be willing to add to Adams to acquire Addison and the age discount?

@DynastyTradesIn5 I think you would have to offer a first with adams and get like Addison and a 3rd something like that. Don't think a 2nd is appealing enough but don't think most people wanna target Addison with adams and a first they would aim higher first

Everything tells me not to buy JSN, unless you are a contender and can buy with picks that don't matter. Im listening to Shane, I've already done this rodeo. I had Bateman and Burks and Terrace Marshall. I will now forever sell those 1st rd busts because it isn't worth my time. Let someone else enjoy JSN go to Zero😂

@@ShaneIsTheWorst just had a guy in my league offered the 1.05 to another manager for JSN. He has decided already to rebuild and needs QB. The offer was rejected... im speechless. He paid the 1.06 last year

I’d rather trade mid to late 1st rounders for proven talent in 12 team 1QB.Last year I traded 1.06 for Aiyuk, this year got Pittman for 1.11, Goff and Lockett. Also got back 3.06 dart throw. Y

I want to hold jsn but have a pretty loaded wr room. 12 tm sf start 10, would you trade jsn for a potential non playoff 25 1st? Would try to get more first of course
