@@LetsPlayThru Fair. I'm an 10-12 handicapper so I wasn't expecting a superior round but the greens really caught me off guard. They were shockingly fast. Too fast to be honest. I've played pool tables that were slower. I think I had five three puts on the course and I normally average about 15-18 puts for 18 holes. Other than that it was a very pleasant course.

@@gilleonard7378 I literally just started and I’m obsessed with it already. Getting some lessons later this week so I can have a good base. I’m ultra competitive so I know I’m going to dive into this sport and do whatever it takes to be good at it. I’m in real estate here in NSB so my schedule can afford me to get out more than the average guy. I plan on going out and trying all the public courses in the area. Couple buddies of mine play Venetian Bay often so I’ll go there more often I’m sure.

How did you get discount, and where did you try them out before ordering?

@@timm5514 10% discount popped up when I was on their website. Only place you can try them out is club championship. I'm familiar with the graphite shaft and grip so that was a plus but I didnt try them b4 I purchased. I got $220 for my 4 yr old ping g400s via their trade in program. So irons were around 550. They are nice irons and only issue I have is you have to hit the ball and not rely on the spring face of the pings. Once you get the feel it's all good. I've found no difference in accuracy actually for me the hogans are better...

correct, ks1 is the closet to face balanced of the three..... face balanced is best for a straight back and thru stroke.

Yeah, Scotty's have gold dust in them and they're made by fairies...so of course they're better especially since they set you back $400 or more off the shelf. LOL. I mean, Scotty's ARE going to have more technology and research, so I suppose there's something to be said about that, but it's a putter. To me, putting is about 90% between the ears and maybe 5 or 10 percent about the putter you're using. Length, feel and looks are the most important aspects of the putter to me, which leads to confidence level. Probably 5% or less of putting success is about the technology in the putter IMHO. To some people, spending $500 on a putter alone is what gives them confidence...the price and name on the putter mean absolutely nothing to me...0%. That said I wouldn't make the same argument about drivers and fairways where there's significant performance differences between...say...the SIM2s and the el cheapo's. Irons fall someplace in between IMHO...all the manufacturers claim their latest design iron is the best ever, which is mostly marketing bullsh**, though now and then someone comes up with something worthwhile in iron technology.

Brand name does not automatically mean better. There's hundreds of KS1 reviews on the internet and they all say it's a great putter

One thing that is not in question.... more putts have been missed using a Scotty today than have ever been missed with Kirkland EVER 🤔

Lmfao, if you actually think a standard milled Cameron putter is any better than any other putter made by the same machinery and same material bearing a different name I honestly feel bad for you. Obviously if you go to Cameron's studio and have one fitted to you, then yes, this product won't be equal. 🤣

I got a Super Select Squareback for Christmas. A really great feeling putter for sure for me. And it feels amazing and does everything well, in close to lags and longer putts. I also have a KS1 that I’ve had for several years and it’s been a good putter, especially for the price. But after I got the Scotty, I was wondering if I could make the KS1 feel and perform comparable to the Scotty. I cut it down to about 33 1/2”, replaced the original grip with a Flatso 2.0, had the lie adjusted to fit me (also had lie adjusted on the Scotty). And it felt so good but it was too light swing weight. KS1 was D0 and Scotty was E1. Added lead tape, balanced on toe and heel, still light. Added #8 lead shot inside the 10 gram toe and heel weights (they’re hollow) and the results are amazing. I actually like it better than the Scotty. It’s more consistent for me. Frankenstein Putter? Maybe a bit 😂, but the end result is amazing. Good as the Scotty? Maybe, maybe not. Putts as well or even better…for me. Getting rid of the Scotty? No Making some adjustments to the Scotty? Probably Point is, don’t sell it short just because of the name on the putter. None are magic out of the box unless you get very lucky.

It looks so much like a Scotty Cameron that I would not be surprised if it’s made by Titleist
