The So Kates are NEVER comfortable when you first wear them. They ALWAYS hurt. Basically, that means NOTHING. In my case, I bought them true to size, based solely on how they fit around the heels. The heel fit is critical, because if you buy them too big, in a mistaken attempt to spare your toes the pain, the shoes will always slip and slide off when walking, and the more they're broken in the more they will pop off as you walk, basically making the shoes unwalkable. So buy them so the heel fits right, and suck up the pain in the toes, at first. Now, don't wear them outside, don't wear them for anything, until you do some serious at-home breaking-in. I recommend wearing them for at least an hour a day, at home, for six or seven weeks. And don't just sit or stand; that does no good. Get in some serious walking. Loubies stretch more than almost any high heel I've ever worn. So put in the time, put in the walking, every day. At the end of seven weeks, my So Kates were good to go. Yes, the toes still squeezed, and they were still tight. But they didn't hurt. That's because the leather had moulded to my toes. The tightness therefore was uniform, without any crushing sensation around the big toe or, as in your case, the pinky. That's what it takes, and the shoes then become totally worth the expense and one of the best high heels I have. Be patient and put in the time. It's worth it, and you'll get your money's worth, finally, out of the shoes. I hope you haven't gotten rid of them!

Best information I have heard on the So Kate’s. I wish I read before I purchased my second pair of Iriza’s, I wanted the nude in a different style initially as I already have the black, was just worried about the pain and not getting the wear out of the So Kate’s.

The iriza is very classy but sexy I have three pairs of them. The so Kate’s are a no most people end up letting collect dust in their closet it just isn’t worth it. Invest in 100 mm

Some styles require you to sizes up 2 to 4 sizes. (Including half sizes) also, you can get shorter styles. 100's and lower may be more comfortable, or get the platforms.

It’s so hard to choose with the so Kate style they are sooo sexy looking but some people like her literally cannot even wear the shoes out at all but other reviews they swear by them and can walk perfectly with only minimal discomfort so I feel like This is just depending on the person I wouldn’t jiSt dismiss wearing these I think some women might just not know how to properly walk in very tall arched heels they should stick with the lower ones and some people are just more sensitive to feeling pain like that. If you can’t walk in tall heels or if you just get pain in your feet easily, or if you aren’t used to very arched very steep set heels you can either practice slowly going taller or stick with the lower ones SO KATE are cute and wearable if you know how to walk in steep Heeels it takes practice and sizing is KEY

Lovely shoes that need breaking in alot , I have So Kate and original Pigalle's ,my toes was totally jammed inside , squeezed into the point with no space , sales advisor said they will break into my foot shape but because I have big bunions it took a while, , Did you keep them ? Regards Sharon.

Glad you stuck with it! Yes, it's a real torture test at first when you get your right size but eventually they will fit right and you can walk in them. If they're comfortable at first, then you can be pretty sure you got them too big unfortunately. They should squeeze uncomfortably at first, otherwise they're not the right size.

They are pretty shoes. I would not wear them either maybe just for watching tv lol! I am sure if you keep them and you resell it later, maybe the value will go up. I don't really know but they are so pretty! I feel like they are an art piece and not really to wear if they are that uncomfortable. The ones that you have! For those who do wear them you girls are awesome! I wouldn't be able to do that!

They can be worn, and they can eventually be comfortable. This is particularly true about the leather Loubies, in Nappa. The thing is that the way the shoes feel brand new out of the box is nothing like the way they will feel after some serious at-home breaking-in. Most shoes don't stretch like Loubies do. Most of us are used to shoes feeling pretty much the same between the day we get them and the day we wear them for the tenth time. But that's simply not the case with Loubies. Which is why you don't jump to conclusions, and you don't give up on them. A Loubie shoe is like a pet. At first it has no idea who's the boss or what its name is or anything. But eventually, however, they learn to fit right in; so does a Loubie! You need to invest time and effort. And they're worth it, particularly at those prices!

Wear them every day for about an hour, and when you wear them WALK, around the house, up and down stairs, wherever you can, but strictly at home. Don't try to wear them outside for at least a month. I also find it can sometimes help to put on a little foot lotion or vaseline before putting the shoes on (no, that does not damage the shoes).

Put shoe stretcher in them.. I wear size 15 and sometimes I have to UAE shoe stretcher. Tighten up and give one full turn both ways length and width for 3 days then just length for 3 days and leave a week will be comfortable!

You literally have to go in and try on sizes. I’m a 8 and I have a wide foot. I tried on 38.5, 39, and got 39.5. Ended up returning for a 40 and they are very comfortable compared to the 39.5. They are suppose to feel tight but not hurt.

@@Martina..1 I don’t know for that style, but I’d at least start at 39. I actually had to go back to my 39.5. They are more secure now that the leather stretched.
@charlottejay2742
@charlottejay2742 2 жыл бұрын
@@Airytambin That is so like what I hear from other people as well. At first, they buy it too big and they're happy, in your case with a 40. Then, once it breaks in, they realize their mistake and go down a size or two, as you have down to 39.5. The moral is buy them so they fit in the heel, NOT so they fit in the toe, because they will NEVER fit in the toe when new; they will ALWAYS be uncomfortably tight in the toe at first, even if it's the right size. That's the way they're designed, for the look, not for comfort.

I have a pair of 120 mm pigalles and honeyyyyy... the toe box is so tight I can't even walk. it makes me so sad. 😩 but im thinking of investing in a stretcher, bc they aren't patent so they should have some give. I hope we end up being able to wear our shoes, mines a ltd edition style from 2014 and id loveeee to wear them...
@charlottejay2742

Just keep in mind that the way they feel when they're brand new is nothing like the way they feel after a few hours of non-stop wearing. Louboutins are the stretchiest heels I've ever worn. You really have no idea whether they will fit or hurt until you've worn them inside the home and walked in them daily for a week or two.

Size up to 8. Even after broken in will still be tight but not unbearable. Also get clear sole protectors to help with preserving the red color at the bottom. I'm a comfortable 5.5 but got a 6.5 couldn't believe it.

My problem with these is that I feel they overdress the outfit, and that the red soles get damaged too easily. A week to break them in at home means the red sole is destroyed way before the real day where you go out with them
