Buying A Combine Harvester, Harvesting Oats & Baling Straw - The Western Wilds #10 FS22 Timelapse

FS22 Buying a combine harvester, harvesting oats and baling straw is the next part in the Western Wilds timelapse series on Farming Simulator 22. We start the day off clearing trees from our land so we can raise enough money to buy a combine harvester. Once we buy the harvester we use it to harvest our field of oats. We sell the oats and then bale up all the straw which we sell some of the bales and keep the rest for our cows. We finish the day off taking some logs up to the sawmill to top it up for producing pallets of planks.

Gotta say man, your bale handling skills are on point, whenever I try it looks like it’s been done by someone with two left hands and a physical twitch, it always ends up with a “meh, good enough” after I knock over a stack

Not really paid much attention to it to be honest, was cheap to buy and I had loads of slurry to get rid of so just thought I'd get it. Methane can be used for making gold though so might be worth it in the long run

@@SimFarmer it produces more than enough methane to produce gold, I found with the income from silage at the bga and selling the methane you make roughly same money as taking silage bales to the train yard but with bga you also have digestate so it's not too bad

Why do you get a bonus when selling products? I know it’s from the Precision Farming mod but what is the bonus for?

The bonus come from precision farming requirements being fulfilled like using less chemical fertilizers, in the beginning you start with a medium score and increase or decrease with your field management

Its from the mod precision farming you get a bonus if it is good for the environment
