As much as Scotiabank's fees annoy me, its really true about being able to get a mortgage from them. I was in my late 30s when I bought my house and many other institutions refused to give me a 30 year mortgage because of my age. Scotia was willing and the rate was decent.

Thank you so much for sharing this process. I’m a born Jamaican, but lived in the USA since 1986 at age 15 and is looking to retire soon and would like to purchase a house in Jamaica. No one has ever shown and explained how to process works especially for someone in my situation. Again, I thank you very much..very informative 👍🏾👊🏽💪🏾🫶🏾

This was excellent. We have just bought our a home in a gated community in Jamaica (we live in 🇬🇧). The process was fairly straighforward for us (we were just lucky I guess). We hope to do more business in Jamaica and this video was truly informative.

If u can build your home slowly without a mortgage I personally think it’s better than a 30 year mortgage
