There are so very few reviews of Black Lapel anywhere on the net. I wish there was more. This one is now 5 years old. What little I have seen is generally positive, but it gets washed away in the numerous reviews of places like SuitSupply, Oliver Wicks, Indochino, and more. I will be visiting their one store location (NYC) for measurements and fitting. fingers crossed.

Trousers look good, I will prefer it, for you, a little longer without breaking. About the jacket, I think for your frame you will look much better with a double bouton, three-roll-two lapel or triple button (more formal). The jacket size was pour produce and clearly, don’t feet you. Also, without to sound impolite, a will like to share with you the buttoning rules for a double-breasted jacket. You should always keep it button at all time, when in public even when seated, with the only exception when are you eating. Take a look to Oliver Wicks (I’m not an affiliate :)

It seems to be a common theme already that people like the pants, but hate the jacket. I happen to agree. The jacket, like you said yourself, is box-like. A jacket shouldn't be straight, it should taper. Yours does not.

If you want this sort of thing I can't possibly recommend a company called J. Hilburn highly enough: you don't do the measurements, they send a trained stylist to *you* to measure you and ensure everything is perfect the first time, as well as to help you select and match colors, patterns, and fabrics. This measurement/consultation is free (the stylist gets a commission on your order). After being measured once (took about an hour) I ordered a $1000 suit, half a dozen trousers, and I think 7 or 8 shirts (you're looking at, on average, $150 a pop for the trousers and shirts, depending on a lot of factors). I was so exceptionally pleased, everything fit absolutely perfectly first time around. If any kind of alternations are needed, *they* will do them (free, of course). The fabrics are excellent quality from Italian mills, they keep costs down by having the actual cutting and stitching done in Malaysia and Vietnam (and I think a bit in Portugal, I believe that's where my suit was tailored). The only downside here is that this is dependent on there being a stylist in your area (they're based out of Texas where I lived, so if you're there your odds are good) and they have an office in NYC, so if you're in the tri-state area your odds are good.

To try on for own body , might be tricky , but DAMNE , if they can wore logistic with measuring , wow

The Trousers fit well and look sharp. The jacket ...seams that they made a joke on you! This thing looks terrible! Just look at the shoulders...and all the way down it‘s getting worse! Love your videos!

I love those trousers, but the jacket is quite bad, if it is buttoned I'm sure it will look better, which I believe double breasted jackets should always be.. But the sleeves ruin it! Loved the video, keep it up!

You should be able to put your shoulder up against the wall and have your shoulder touch before the suit pad does.....not sure the jacket is a good for for you tbh

Online made to measure suits is a terrible decision. I've watched several KZfaq people test them and the results are nearly always disappointing. Antonio Centeno got out of the business because it was so hard to get the fit right.

Jacket is really really Ill fitting and looks very ordinary. Daylight robbery for the price , if this is indeed their standard of fit and finish.

Honestly... it does not have the fit, look, or class, of a quality tailored made jacket or pants. The back of the jacket is really awful and I have to agree that it looks like it was made in China. Sorry Christian but I think you have better taste and aesthetics for clothing.
