So, what is it like to head out to your local MINI dealership and buy a new MINI Cooper? Come along with me as I go about how I would select my ideal next MINI. The methods for buying a MINI Cooper are the same regardless of which dealership you visit though each dealership has different policies and practices. The process I show in this video is based off the interactions I've had in the past with this particular dealership.

With the JCW engine tone you don't need a Harmon stereo system.😊 The engine is music in itself.

Now that you understand about the back seat you should check out the easy accessible backseat of the Countryman. Night and day difference. We love our 2door HT S but we have never put anyone in its backseat. Our Countryman has plenty of room and the backseat even slides back and reclines for even more room when needed. Both are great but the 2dr is much more fun to drive.

Great Video love all the features sadly one can only get a Mini through CarMax because of the Credit situation I ended up with a Enigmatic Black Cooper S convertible.. Keep up the good work.. Maybe look into people with challenging credit..

With my new JCW Clubman I went with the lounge leather black seats. Not the JCW sport seats. Love the leather!

I'd go with the "S", optioned the way you want it and monkey with the HP after (market). Also, if you're self-employed, consider leasing instead and it would be a lower payment and you could write it off as a business expense. (at least you can in Canada) Great video and great idea for a video. Thanks as always.

2 door HT agreed but for me I will try out a Mini SE and see what I think of an Electric MINI.

Thanks for all the info. Seems like the dealerships pile lots of extras on to jack up prices. Presently looking for a car with simple goodies. Cooper S, nav, auto, no other BS . As simple as I am, just a good ride. Don't think it will be easy to find.

The two you took off your list are the ones I would buy. The Pepper White JCW with red mirror caps and the Enigmatic Black with Satellite Grey interior.

JCW all day. I truthfully dont care about nav. I loooove that greenish gray color. But jcw is king. Love the video brother. Super good.

I'd go with a fully loaded Cooper S and then just get the Pro tuning kit installed.

Didn’t think I would ever consider a green car but I am loving the MINI BRG. Gorgeous colour especially contrasted with the white roof and mirrors.

If you went with the S over the JCW you would always wish you had gone JCW route after a few weeks, the JCW exhaust makes up for no Harmon Karden and you can always use goggle maps for navigation which never means paying for dealer map updates again.

A lot more under the Skin of the JCW than on a Cooper S, Brembo brakes/Engine build different and cooling all add up to a more fun drive.

would you recommend getting a MINI as a first car? i have always loved these little cars and i’m going to be getting my first car in the next year or so. i’ve heard they’re not the most reliable and to start with something else. i would love to hear your opinion!

My new Cooper (which I now love, took me a while, I missed my '13 Clubman) has the lounge leather and it's VERY nice, very nice feel. Also the Harmon speakers which are fantastic and the touch screen NAV, these are all things that are well worth having. I didn't like the seats in that Cooper works car. Color-wise, mine is Navy Blue, which is very smart, you don't seem to have it over there. I agree, the green is the best choice. Great video. Interesting that you wouldn't choose the new Clubman. Me neither.

I live around Somerset KY and I think that the closest Mini dealership to me is in Knoxville Tennessee. I would love to have a Mini dealership near me to go browse around and see all the new Mini's

@@TheMINIac My Clubman isn't a Cooper S or JCW, the next Mini I get I want the Cooper S or JCW for sure. But at least my Mini is the 6 speed manual. I have to have the manual gearbox and 2 door

BEFORE buying any vehicle I would have investigated first the monthly payments, down payments, trade in, etc. so that I wouldn’t be let down at the end in not being able to buy the car I really liked. Often in life you just have to settle for less. If money was no object and I wanted to buy a MINI Cooper it would definitely be the John Cooper Works Clubman with the 300+ hp engine, fully loaded.
