This video helped me make my mind up on getting the Wild H10 on sale with some light upgrades over going carbon! I went with the H10 over H20 because the Orbea alloy wheels actually come with DT Swiss DT350 hubs which I'll upgrade to 54t ratchet out back for better engagement. Also comes with better components to sell off if you wanna change them out. My LBS bought parts off me so I could upgrade: Fork: RS Zeb Ultimate 170mm (charger 3, buttercups) Brakes: Hayes Dominion A4 Tires: DH casing DHR II / Assegai Bars: OneUp E-bar Drivetrain: GX AXS to go with the Shimano cassette Bosch Kiox 300 is a great display as well, you can wire it cleanly and flip it backwards to cover your headset. I'm gonna stick with the Float X for now since I'm trying to figure out which coil shocks do/don't fit well. I know the Fox DHX2 will, but it seems RS SuperDeluxe coil will not, and I'm not sure about PUSH Elevensix or the new SV8. The bike is perfect for hitting the gnarlier bay area trails!

I have a customized M10 arriving in about two weeks 🤘 Matte carbon, Fox Factory, throwing on Magura calipers and some Kryptotal's. Cannot wait.

I was particularly interested in this particular video because I bought the Orbea Wild H20 two months ago after reading watching rave videos on KZfaq, the last bike I bought after KZfaq endorsement was the entry model Specialized Turbo Levo which I loved (2019) - got stolen! My concern is that the Ebike brands are soliciting paid reviews of their top, most expensive models from the popular KZfaq channels, tellingly these paid reviews all come out at the same time, literally. There is a big problem with this platform - the reviews profusely embellish the super expensive bikes (some of which may be true of course), however, ordinary joe like me are much more likely to buy the entry level bikes in the hope that they ride very similar to the top models. EMTB - ordinary joe/jane - middle aged with kids, short on time, relatively new to or returned to biking, investing oversized sum to feed his/her hobby. None of the top earning channels review the entry level bikes, nor do they actually say anything negative because of the conflict of interest. Hence, it is not clear, who is this bike for? The beginner, or the pro downhill enduro ace? We hear far too many numbers - so many millimetres or angles this and that (chain stay, BB, reach etc.) and not enough about how they ride and whether these bikes are value for money? Hence, the KZfaq channels are complicit in letting the industry get away with hastily thrown together lower end bikes that are seriously flawed, and still demand thousands of dollars/pounds/euros! My view after 2 month ownership is a degree of disappointment. The H20 is a monster truck, way too heavy, I did not expect that given that the top product is 20.8Kg! This is a major problem for intermediate/ early biker. The sheer weight detracts from being able to jump, turn, develop skill, and the poor fork/suspension platform can only described as dull and lacklustre. The internal battery and the ridiculous complicated headset with internal cables is just nuts. Importantly, something you did not point out - this is a front heavy bike, much more noticeable in my size small bike with big 750 battery taking up the whole length of the down tube. It is difficult to convince this bike to jump (more speed, more hop) and then control the tendency of front end dipping. Why oh why do I have to spend several thousand of hard earned cash to bring it up to speed? Should I really even try to bring the weight down - not possible. The result is that 2 months down the line, I am desperately trying to sell the bike and buy a Specialized - the market, as it is, I can't even get half price for a 2 month old bike. I do not believe the Orbea Wild 2023 Alloy models are value for money - period. It turns out, all the R&D went in to developing the carbon race winning models. There is a unhealthy collusion between industry and channels/social platforms that promote these bikes - it makes it impossible to get an honest view of products that are more expensive than the cars we drive.

What a beauty was thinking of getting on but got a Kenevo expert instead, and now upgrading it to be the ultimate DH emtb.

Regarding the Fox DH2X shock, which size was installed?

Thanks for this review. Regarding the Fox 38 Float Factory fork, there is a 180mm option. Would you recommend this? My stock Orbea has 160mm travel.

What’s the spring rate?

I bought a 2022 M Team new in 2023 with upgraded Kiox display. Full Fox factory suspension XT 4 piston brakes and upgraded Orbea carbon wheels on DT 350 hubs for $6000 out the door! Gotta look around . Jenson is fine for small parts but for completes builds?

I picked up an M10 model for 6.5k, had to RMA the rear shock as the valve core snapped off of the fox float X. I wonder what coil shock I should throw on it.

nice bike, but non-removable battery easily disqualifies it for me and a lot of my mates... :( meanwhile Levo FTW ! also for full integration (controls, LCD/LED and Ant+ so you can see data on your Garmin)

Thats not true, the XL Frames from Orbea tend to be a little more compact than other brands

I will never buy a bike with headset or stem cable routing! Just stupid that companies think this is a good idea!
