Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.

It was 10 years ago today that we uploaded the first episode of Mighty Car Mods. We never thought it would turn into this decade long adventure and we’re so grateful to have been able to share our stories with you. It’s been an incredible opportunity to get to meet thousands of car enthusiasts from all over the world and what we’ve learned after 10 years is that everyone has their own story and their own reasons for loving cars. Ultimately it’s all these different reasons and backgrounds that makes this community so interesting. To celebrate 10 years we have released a hard cover book 'The Cars of Mighty Car Mods' available from our website mightycarmods.com/products/the-car-of-mighty-car-mods-hardcover-book Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us, inspired us, shared our stories, come to our meets and supported the show in so many ways over the years - We’re so glad that you came along with us for the ride! I just wanted to say thank you Marty and Moog. From the very very bottom of my heart. You guys inspired me to learn to drive stick. You inspired me to modify my car in a way that pleases me and not others. To do my own thing and follow the crowd. You are my idols and you make me so happy with your love of cars, the car community, and the people involved including your fan base. So on behalf of every MCM fan at least in Wisconsin and hell the whole USA. Thank you. For all the smiles and laughs you’ve given us throughout the past 10 YEARS!! Congratulations guys. Keep it up. Never stop. And as always Stay, MAAAAD!!!

You are right, these two awesome guys now bring happiness to more people with their fortune and fame, and they worked hard for it, every day waking up and bringing their best, days they didn't want to, days they wondered if they would be more than a couple hacks, days they probably wished they had a safe and secure life and job, and now its their life and they are providing a glimpse into the world they created, and its amazing.

You guys always put a smile on each and everyone of your viewers and continue to drive the passion in each one of our hearts and minds. On behalf of your Canadian Fans (Especially the car scene in Vancouver B.C.), we thank you and hope you continue another decade and beyond of rad, hardcore, over-the-top, ridiculous, hilarious and inspiring content. To be honest, the influence you had on my love of cars, is just something I can't thank your enough for, I don't not hate even one car, every car is beautiful in itself. Has character, can be made cool and can be a nugget. You've taught me to find out for yourself why it is people love different cars, you made me laugh, and you've made me cry. This show is amazing, thank you for 7 years of my life where I've grown from a insecure teenager to the 22 year old that I am today. Keep up the good work guys, I think I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say, we fucking love you!

I import cars from Japan to Australia as my business. I too, gamble by buying all my cars unseen with only an auction certificate. The thing is that the Japanese are such an honest people it is more rare to ever get a car thats worse than stated, than to get one that isn't. 9 times out of 10 the car is even better than what the photos show.

First, LOVE the 240Z. Underrated in Canada, and so worth it. Second, I found myself calling out episode and car project names during the montage. MCM has had a big impact on my life as a car enthusiast and one who loves to drive Third, but not least, congrats to Marty & Moog on 10 years of greatness. From the show car, Blue Turd, Street Cred, and beyond to Lend Us a Ride, and do many great full length features. LOVE Miss Daisy and the 9 second Cressida. The crossover with Road Kill was AWESOME, as I’ve also been a fan of them for years. All in all, thank you both for just being you, and sharing what you love with us. We’re lucky to have you.

Mike Gould it's a FairladyZ, I believe it's a little different to the 240Z. I believe the 240Z are more powerful and maybe even faster (not sure) but the FairladyZ had a 5 speed and the America spec 240Z was a 4 speed. Sorry I'm a bit of nerd to the early Zs. I think it you put a 5 speed in the America spec 240Z you'd have a cool all Nissian Z with the best of both worlds. The 260Zs and 280Zs use more liters of oil but are less powerful because regulations. How I see it is you keep the 240Zs stock and if you want to mod one you get a 260Z or 280Z because they use the same chassis and body but are less wanted.
@MrVapourGFX

Mike Gould they're not underrated here in Canada, there are just not many that run and drive/make their way over the pond. The snow and salt in the winter destroys them because they're not made for it. They had less than par rustproofing, if you look for any that have been driven in Canada they're more than likely going to have a rotten frame/chassis and floor... unfortunately And as a side note; they stopped being datsun and became Nissan in 1985, when Nissan bought the company and rights to the name

Why I am a MCM Fan: All that hard work to entertain us over the past decade earned yourself every single smile i just saw in this video. You guys managed to stay true to your fans to this very day by resisting the temptation of big brand sponsorships and utopian trillion dollar bling bling builds every other car channel seems to fall for sooner or later. Hell im sure you couldve celebrated this anniversary with a sparkling six figure purchase and yet this could be me and my best friend racing against each other. I guess thats what made me a fan since 8 or so years: because every bit of happiness, smiles or anger in your videos feel sincere and cause an equal reaction in a fan who lives tens of thousands kilometers away on the other side of the planet. Happy Birthday!

You guys are next level with your film making now!! ...You can see the progress year after year!, the series finales are always the cream of the crop, I'm not a film maker but I can appreciate how much footage you must have to watch and sift through and then have to make the tough decision of what you can keep, all those gopro's, the drone footage the DSLR? Acting, Filming, Editing, Music Making, Music Merging, the paperwork the phone calls the travel, all the stuff we don't see, It's all truly amazing!! The ending is soo emotional to those that have seen all those previous bits before, it's like if we knew when our last on Earth was and someone showed you all of your memories and things that you forgot about, from being an infant to present day. all the best for the future guys, I don't praise comment very often, but credit where it's due. and this deserves it!! one thing still bothers me though, not knowing!! :-) , just how did you get drone footage of you both walking from above and niether had a controller?, follow me function maybe?

I've got to take the chance to say a very heartfelt thank you. You guys manage to inspire, entertain, teach and bewilder me all at the same time - every time! I feel so thankful that you go through all the effort it takes to make these videos, and that you've done so for a full decade is just incredible. It's humbling really. I mean, here I am - a depressed, unemployed graphic designer from Sweden - and I get to be part, in my very own small way, of this great big community full of wonderful people. And none of it would exist if it weren't for to Aussies that decided to one day film their driveway shenanigans and upload it on the internet. I can't really wrap my head around it! Once again, thank you, for everything you do.
