Hey everyone, I'm happy to share this experience on my channel. I was lucky enough to get offered the 2022 Rolex GMT Master II “Batman/Batgirl” 126710

I just found your channel and watched most of the videos. I think most people would like to here more like how do you keep getting these calls, your relationship with the AD, what you like about each piece, where is your collection going. I think many people would subscribe if they felt a connection beyond a guy seemingly to have endless money and gets endless calls from the AD. I figure this is not true but would love to hear more. Thank you

I spent $300 with my AD and waited 5 months before getting this as my first watch in March of 2021. It’s the best Rolex out there visually speaking in my opinion. It just looks fantastic, congratulations

Envious. I'm still waiting for that call from Century City Geary's for my Batman. How long did you have to wait and what did you buy from them prior? Your Sub?

Is there AR coating underneath the crystal?

I actually am not even sure to be honest. To my knowledge, no AR coatings are disclosed within Rolex specs. GOOD question though!! Thanks for watching and I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. Let me know if you find out!

Are you happy with the jubilee or would you rather have the oyster bracelet?

I much prefer the jubilee on GMTs and DJ. I like oyster bracelets too, don't get me wrong. I just don't like the look of polished center links on the oyster. I wish they still were all brushed on GMT Masters. Thanks for watching!

If center links are polished I prefer a jubilee. The jubilee is not as prone to scratches

I have a submariner date and thinking about a batgirl next as nothing else catches my attention too much without being too similar would you agree this is different enough to scratch the itch .

@@KyleJettthink I’ll hold fire for now , at least u till I’ve worn one in the flesh to see , I purchased a Datejust 41 126333 last year , bi metal champagne dial as always liked the look since younger years , it just wore too large and flashy to the point of being tacky looking if that makes sense ? Sticking with steel for sure going forward I’d love a green dial gmt master if they ever did one in steel

Is buying from a Rolex store less expensive than these gray market Rolex's? I am looking for a Batgirl (to treat myself for my retirement from FDNY 27yrs in Manhattan). Online retailers want 17-20K.. What would I expect to pay if I were to get on a wait list? This is my first Rolex. Thank you. Joe I'm in NYC

Joe, thanks for watching! It is true that gray/secondary dealers will overcharge you. Having said that, the market seems to have softened a bit. But I would still go for an authorized dealer. ADs can only charge what is advertised as the new price on Rolex.com. So, not only will you get the best price, but the experience is hands down better than a reseller. I would recommend calling as many ADs in your local area and get on their radar. Let them know of your retirement and why you want the watch. If you check back regularly, you will get one at some soon enough. After 27 years of hard work, you deserve the watch you want without price gouging!
