The hat was made way after 1985 most likely around 2005. In 2007 the material was switched from wool to polyester and the under visor color was switched to black!

Congratulations on the Johnny Bench rookie card. Bench was my mother's favorite baseball player. When her college classmates had posters of Burt Reynolds on their walls, she had a poster of Johnny Bench. Your channel has been an inspiration to me. This weekend, I recorded a few videos opening packs of 2019 Topps Series 1. The first video where I open a couple hanger boxes will be up today and you will see me get excited over a Hall Of Fame pitcher. I would love for you to take a few minutes and check it out. Cotton swab and either lemon juice or alcohol. Really there is a 3M chemical that is used for liquid displacement computers (computers entirely under liquid) and for fire protection systems in areas that need the protection like the archives or places with a lot of important electronics.. That leaves the paper product great.

Psa goes all over the country to grade. I would just wait for a show they are at bring the hat to look at. PSA came to some shows in my area.

The hat looks like a real hat. 59/fifty has some jank stitching that I’ve bought. Their I think it’s to accommodate folks like me who’s head fits in between two sizes. I have searched and searched through so many of their hats and unless I’m missing something which I could be cause I’m just watching a video, it looks legit.

I could get lost at this indoor flea market! Lots of hidden gems.

The new era cap doesn't look like a pre 95 cap but maybe just get it authenticated. You might b suprised or at least have conformation of our suspicions. At least this flee market was a good trip.

Thanks for the video. The hat looks like it has the enlongated bill on it. Its not your normal baseball hat bill. I dont think those were around before mickey passed. I have an authentic manyle auto and yours looks pretty close. It could be auto-penned as well. If its too great a deal to be true, then it usually is.

The stain looks like a wax pack stain. I wouldn't use anything wet. I was always told to use a dry clean sock or cloth and try to rub it off.

That hat is newer then 95.

i looked at many of sig and rarely does the loop on the t and i looked at photos on google i think it like a 59 new era from 2018 but dont take my word for it im not a grader.

I don't think you remember but I'm a stage 4 prostate cancer patient.... my brother in law has the same type of cancer you do.... for him its 12 years a survivor..... i cant believe you bought that mantle hat..with that jacked up certificate of authenticity...looks like someone made that certificate up on their computer and printed it off.

If the Mantle hat is fake, I like the idea of writing fake on the inside with an asterisk.

I've had some luck lately with baseball cards, pulled a Trout 25-25, a Acuna 63-99 and a Othani 5-15 all autos. The days of pulling relief pitchers with 6.56ERAs and Mendoza line 32 year old rookies have taken a most likely short vacation.

To get wax stains off cards from the 60's & 70's I double layer dry pantyhose and gently scrape with my fingernail. It's amazing how well it takes it off without damaging the cards! If you're able, practice on a card you don't care about first, to get a feel for the pressure necessary. Great video Erik!
