Hey y'all! I BOUGHT A CAR! I am still completely overwhelmed that this is real life and so grateful to have a car after everything that's happened over the past month and a half. So far, I have been loving my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks and I can't wait for her to take me all around for years to come! What do you think about the name Betty White the Bronco? Congrats Gracie!! I felt this so much. I’m shopping for an X4 and it’s been a disaster finding one in the color I want. I thought I was getting it for myself for Christmas. HA. That didn’t happen. It was an exhaustive search buying my last car too I literally wanted to give up. My last car was my first car I ever bought for myself. And it’s REALLY exciting. Be so proud of yourself!!❤️🎉

I also have a new bronco sport and love it!! I have the exact same license plate cover and cup coasters too. I highly recommend the insert for the center console that you can buy on Amazon (pretty much just a shelf for it). The app with the remote start is my favorite feature. Congratulations, so exciting!

Congratulations! I’ve got my Outer Banks ordered, production scheduled for the last week of May. I’m excited about that 10 speaker audio upgrade from the Big Bend, I also got the interior bicycle rack. It will be interesting to see how that works.

Yay on the Bronco Sport. My mom has the 21 outer banks in Area 51. We went and ordered one then she realized she probably should test drive one before she waits forever for it to come in. We went an hour away to see about driving the base model to get a feel and as we pulled in they were unloading the exact vehicle she had just ordered 18 hours prior. It had no hold so she bought that and is so happy she did. This was back in September and her order is still not complete and is sitting at the build plant. She’s had me do so much to her bronco to customize like adding decals to the back side windows and we put black letters over the white to make them stand out more. Hopefully you love yours as much as she does.

Congrats!! I ordered my Bronco back in April/March of 2021. I got the fully loaded Badlands in Cactus grey and I waited 6 months for it to get in. BUT now that I have it, it was SO worth wait and I am grateful I had the means to wait 6months for the vehicle to come in. Have so much fun with your new car!

I love it. I want a Bronco sport so bad. My lease is up in March on my Escape. Unfortunately we don't have much money so we may end up just getting our Escape or extending lease. Enjoy!!

Congratulations, Gracie!!! That car will definitely last you for years and YEARS!! ... I will be looking to buy a new car within the next year or two as well... I bought my current car (the one and only car that i've had) brand new 12 years now and although i LOVE it and is still 100% reliable, it is starting to show it's age. :( ... Unlike you and the beast that you bought 😂, I will be getting a small car. Maybe a Mazda 2 or similar 🤷‍♀️ 💖

i just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv. i'm a toyota person but i think I dropped the gun too fast and this is what i ended up leaving the lot with, lol i'm grateful though, its the perfect car for me. all glory to god! Did you add Gap insurance? Highly recommend that. My husband bought a brand new truck in 2002, it had 1500 miles on it and a drunk driver hit him and it was totaled. Because we had gap insurance we didn’t have to pay for any of it. It covered the difference between what the insurance paid and what we owed.

yeah, jumper cables and first aid are more important than nail polish in an emergency kit. I would also suggest a poncho or some kind of jacket always available.

Ensure you read the entire extended warranty policy and understand what is, and what is not, covered. Very important to know all of the exclusions and exceptions upfront. Is routine maintenance (e.g. oil changes, etc.) covered? Is there a deductible? Where can you get your vehicle repaired? Hopefully, any licensed Ford dealership. I assume this is a manufacturer's warranty and not a third-party one. Third-party warranties are rarely a good deal and rarely worth the money. When does the extended warranty begin? If it starts at Day 1 (some do), then, hopefully, you negotiated the price down as you only need it to begin the moment your three-year warranty ends. Did you roll the cost of the warranty into your loan? Rarely a good idea as now you're paying interest on it. Try, always, to pay it upfront. Good luck with your beautiful new Bronco (my dad had a vintage one when I was a kid - it was great!!!).

Congrats girl. I never step foot in a car dealership. I feel like every time I go in, all these salesmen close in on you like a vultures closing in on their prey. Hate that. Just as we got in to park our car, they would follow us in their car... so hideous. So I'm going to order on one of those online sites and you just go pick it up, like Carvana or Vroom. I'm glad you had a better experience at a dealership. Lol. I wish you all the luck in this universe and may the senior year power be with you!!!

About 3 weeks ago my 2015 Ford Escape SE broke down on me just a half mile away from my home. Luckily that I pulled over on the shoulder. I called the dealership to see if I can get a tow which they don’t have. I called this tow company near them. It took a hour for the tow truck to get where I was. I was a little bit cold from waiting. Once the tow truck came that I climbed in the truck to get warmed up. He drove me and towed my car to the dealership. It costs over $8,000 for repairs on the engine because of the oil leak. I gotten a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. I test drove it near the dealership on the side roads w/o a dealer in it with me. The next day that I went to the DMV for the title for my old one. Even signed all the paper work and even paid in full with a check. I kind of missed the old one a little bit. I’m still kind of working in my newbie. Enjoy your Ford Bronco!!
