Amazing dynamics with property when various family members inherit bits and bobs creating a jigsaw puzzle of small holdings. You have always done a great job of warning people of all the little (and not so little) things involved in due diligence.

Thanks you guys for the top tips and wow water is flowing nice in the river and Moly still can’t resist to jump into it … the daredevil .. 😉 and thanks for the tip on the official website for the territory. This is a goldmine on information. And indeed even when you buy a plot from an agency sometimes they don’t even know where the border of the land is.

Hello sweet people, thank you for this information!! I'm very grateful. Im dutch and love in andalucia spain. Its awful here beautiful country , but culture is very bad. You forgot to mentionned: "Be carefull with the lawyers". Take your time to choose the good one. Ask people around. Try to find people who deal with him, etc... Suggestion 🙏

There’s no such thing as ‘wildfires’ no spontaneous combustion! There’s two kind of fires, deliberate arson or accidental arson.

@@convidtruthshallout sorry. Wildfires is a term used in the u.s for fires outside of typically urban areas. Forest fires from arson, idiots, or naturally caused (lightening).

At around the 5 minute mark you mentioned a certificate but I couldn't quite understand what it was called. Please could you tell me what this certificate is called so I don't miss this when speaking with my solicitor please.

We said "A certificate of free of use" from the local council , we originally asked the lawyer for a habitation licence but since our ruin was built pre 1951 we got a certificate to say that our ruin is not subject to a utilization license

Good tips. One thing I can never understand is: You buy property, clear, develop plant etc, fine, you've bought your dream place in the middle of nowhere with no neighbours , built, planted right up to the boundaries because it's all beautiful woodland and abandoned. Three years later along comes Joao, the great grandson of the owner of the woodland, bulldozes all 5 ha, builds a house, converts one water reservoir to a swimming pool, puts in a motocross circuit for himself and friends and starts coming every weekend. You start complaining to all and the almighty about it. Maybe someone should have sat down and done a bit more thinking beforehand..

We dont know many selling up but we do know a crazy amount moving to this amazing place.This video is just to help others who want to live here avoid making costly mistakes
