For the future: when you want to perfectly attach stickers or decals, take it off the backing, then put it back on the backing in a way so just the corner of the sticker is hanging over the edge. Then bring the backing/sticker combo to where it needs to be applied. Press the overhanding corner into place, using hte backing to move the corner until it's perfect. Once it's perfect, press down firmly and slowly peel the backing away, applying the sticker as you go. It should be perfect. Learned this applying skins to my Switch.

i have the feeling woody never builded a lego thing bigger then 300 pieces cause ... this is how lego is. they come in numbers, all the stuff is in the bags where they belong and it all makes sense too ... that is ... if you have experience with lego tho xD

He was probably like me where he got hand-me-down lego in a bucket that wasn't all boxed and bagged up, lol. I sometimes got the little sets where you got like a pirate ship or whatever but yeah watching him unbox this I was like "this is how legos come now?" lol.

I just open all the bags sort them by colour and start building. Ive already built 208 lego sets like this including the death star. If i had known this earlier I could have saved hours of time.

Dude as lego is a huge part of my life, I can tell you the 18+ is just to make It appeal more to adults. Lego has made a big push with 18+ sets this year because they realize the huge community of adult fans of lego have expendable income. Most kids around 10 would still be able to build the NES. Wood just sucks at it. I'd like to see him try to build the $800 ultimate collectors series Millennium falcon.

The set comes with a tool to remove the Legos you didn't had to broke your nails, if you had read the manual before starting to assemble you would have noticed

I’m almost done building that set and I think you make it more confusing then it really is. It’s a complex set, but when you start from the beginning and follow the instructions (that clearly tell you exactly what bag to use) it’s pretty simple. It was also a very fun set to build that shows the ingenuity of Lego’s engineers! It was my first LEGO set since I was a kid, about 35 years ago, and now I’m curious to look at other big LEGO sets. Anyway, got it from my by for my 42 years old birthday, and it was an amazing gift! :) Also... in the box there’s a big orange LEGO tool that was made specifically to help you remove Legos and save your nails :)

Omg i was born in 88 and i had an NES in 93 that my mom got me at a garage sale. The next year a SNES and not to much longer a N64 and then GameCube, wii, wii-u, and now Switch. All in all im a Nintendo baby. Love this channel! Wood you are awesome man!

The real reason is two things: - 35th Anniversary - Getting Kids something video game related, because a LOT of parents would rather die then let their kids play an actual video game.

I like to open all bags at once and throw all pieces onto a large pile... searching for the parts is part of the experience for me and reminds me of my childhood when I used to search for party in my big box of loose lego pieces :)

Me used to building a dang rocket ship out of legos that is half the size of me and I am having more stress watching you build that then me building with LEGO. Overall great vid 👍🏾

I only WISH that I could get a Lego set with that many pieces. I always build things really fast and then am just sad. I find it dumb that you are annoyed that you get to build lots of Lego. I get that part of it is over exaggerating for the video but still very irritating.

Ive been building lego for over 30 years and it took me FOURTEEN HOURS to build Lego Voltron. That manual looks at least twice as thick! I'm actually really envious. Have fun!!

This reminds me of when I was young and had a lego version of the shuttle craft endeavor that was at least a couple feet long.

i put my sons lego kits together the first time he gets them up until recently due to being fairly young still and a solid suggestion: get a small plastic tote that is small enough to set on your desk and put loose legos into it while you build, significantly reduces the number of pieces disappearing somewhere on the floor.

The moral of the story... don’t skip around in the instruction manual. Just start from the beginning. I just finished building mine today, and I love it! Nearly messed up the gear system for the “screen” so be careful when you get to that part.
