In a lot of cases they're just keepsakes. I still have a few pairs of shoes my mom got me as a baby and took pictures of me in that I enjoy looking at from time to time. Just about everyone understands this, even buying so much baby clothes can be wasteful because they grow so quickly. Your baby only stays small for so long so it's nice to have something to remember how tiny they used to be by. You weren't exactly rude but to be honest your comment was unnecessary because I'm certain she and everyone else knows this, but it's up to them how they spend their money.

I always wonder why people buy expensive branded shoes for babies. It’s cheaper then buying adult shoes but it still seems like a waste of money when they can’t even walk and are gonna grow out of them in two months. I’m sure Tiffy already understands this though and just bought them because she thinks they look cute. I just feel like even if it’s cute, it’s not worth the money though. I feel like there are lots of cute baby shoes that aren’t these expensive brands and they’re much cuter. Like teddy bear slippers and stuff instead of just shrunk down adult shoes. But it’s up to the individual if they want to spend their money on it. I just know I won’t when I have kids.

@@Pinkalooo My mom usually bought bigger sizes of clothes for my brother and I so we could wear them longer. She loved putting us in overalls because they were adjustable and fit even longer than other clothing. Growing up in the wage bracket I did, I personally could never justify getting clothing that just fit or baby accessories that aren't useful in any way. Maybe a little bow or headband if it came with an outfit, but shoes for a newborn is just absurd to my frugal brain. DX Nothing against Tiffany and Mario, they have the means, and can do what they wish, but my babies will be growing into their clothes like I did.

@@Vaeta Exactly why I said it's up to people how they choose to spend their money. If you choose not to buy the cute, short term things, that's absolutely fine. It's your money to spend and nobody else's business.
