Leather is a by product of the meat industry and not from an endangered species and better to use it than just throw it away, i think the stigma with real fur being sold is that even with vintage stuff if there is still a demand then the cruel trade will carry on, better not to sell or wear it and hopefully the trade will eventually die out.

I buy strictly vintage leather pieces and totally agree with your stance on recycling furs/leathers etc that have been dead for many years. These pieces will last forever if you look after them. It is strange how fur is such a no no but I tend to think people also feel the same about genuine leather too, look how everybody is wearing that plastic leather which is actually quite bad for the enviroment. I think you are right on education being needed. BTW nothing better than wearing genuine leather trousers with a fur coat, would love to see you do an outfit video of mixing furs and leathers whilst educating viewers on the pros of buying vintage.
