Welcome back to finally another new Sky-High Rap Battles! Today Buzz Lightyear, everyone's favorite deluded space ranger toy from Toy Story, faces off against the other main protagonist of the anime Love, Chuunibyo, and Other Delusions, Rikka Takanashi, in a battle of the chuunibyos!

About:
buzz lightyear is the deuteragonist of the disney•pixar toy story franchise. he is a spaceman action figure originally belonging to andy davis based on the fictitious character of the same name. he is also the best friend of sheriff woody and the boyfriend of jessie.
buzz was created during a time where astronauts were especially popular amongst children. because of this, his arrival in the original toy story created conflict with andy's favorite toy, sheriff woody, though this rivalry would eventually blossom into a lifelong friendship.
The fictional buzz lightyear and his adventures would be explored in two spinoff projects: The 2000-2001 animated series buzz lightyear of star command and the 2022 film lightyear.
rikka takanashi is the female protagonist in the japanese light novel/anime series chūnibyō demo koi ga shitai! she is the founder and president of the far eastern magic napping society of summer. rikka takanashi is a chūnibyō practitioner who enrolls in icho private high school, the same school as yuuta togashi. unlike yuuta, she still suffers from chūnibyō (eighth-grader syndrome). she believes she is a sorceress possessed by the "tyrant's eye" ("eye of the wicked lord" in the english dub) that will reveal destinies. she wears a medical eyepatch over her right eye to seal her "tyrant's eye". those who have seen her "tyrant's eye" are considered as completely signing a contract with her. she moved into the apartment above yuuta's apartment to stay with her sister, tōka takanashi.

I like the part when buzz light year said "its time to destroy Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!" and Rikka said "its about time we put an end to this Toy Story..." truly one of the rap battles of all time.

A chuuni vs a Toy Seems about right But seriously, I think it was close, but Buzz took it. They both had good rhymes and flow but The roast from buzz went hard. That ending, tho. I can't believe Yuta lost.

Between all of this 3 high sky rap battles, i feel like jotaro and lightyear take the win for me when Luigi vs neptune are close who I can't decide, and damn, you should have more subscribes, you guys are underrated

12-10-22 Believe me, there are other times when even art styles of the same CHARACTER are different among all images. Like Norman Bates from Rabi's "Norman Bates vs Korekiyo Shinguji". It's all about the different artists. Heck, even real life people are sometimes portrayed in different art styles compared to each other in the same battle. Look at Freshy Kanal's "Frodo Baggins vs. Ancient Egyptians". All of the Ancient Egyptian Characters are based upon real people (except for Anubis), but they are all animated in different art-styles by different animators. King Ramses was animated by TreToonzz, King Tut was animated by Luke Reardon, Cleopatra was animated by BMB, and Anubis was animated by RobotRichie, while some of the additional backgrounds were created by all of the above animators and JesseBoxVO, who portrayed the other 2 Female Characters in this battle besides the title Rikka Takanashi.

@@michaelschlem2849 What I'm trying to say is that the side characters that appear to support Buzz and Rikka's verses heavily clash with the art style created for both Buzz and Rikka. I'd think that, if they are going to be depicted a they are, so should the side characters.

It kind of is but the main connection is that they're both chuunibyos in a way lol Although Raisu and I also found some extra connections they shared including: - Both are often at odds with a family member (Emperor Zurg being Buzz’s dad according to Toy Story 2 and Touka obviously being Rikka’s older sister) - Both assume a different identity after being forced to face the reality that they’re not what they think they are and becoming depressed (Rikka being “normal” and Buzz becoming Mrs. Nesbitt) - Both have spoken a different language (Spanish for Buzz and English/French for Rikka)
