back to the roots on this one , the first of many great manchester bands , i know there was ,the drones ,slaughter ,v2 but the buzzcocks have so many top tunes. a summer hit in the rain.

One of my first influences, before picking up the guitar, the Buzzcocks. Loved the energy of the fuzzy guitars and infectious melodies. Sad went Pete passed. Must of been really hard for Steve, especially. Amazing to here Steve pulling off the same great high melodic music. Brilliant.

i was watching a docu about LEMN SISSAY on bbc4 a few weeks back. with alan yentob i think, imagine docu maybe. "lemn sissay, my name is why". good docu about someone i dont really know or care about really. but in it he has a poem called "RAIN" up on a wall in Manchester somewhere, about the Manc rain. Haley from Corrie was talking about it in the programme. Jeez is it really that bad, the rain, that people have to write poems and songs about it?
