I loved her and she was so sweet! I want to know more about her story... As a woman who has androgenetic alopecia, I'm constantly and OVERLY scared of how my hair is thinning and what other people will think if it gets worse. I really appreciate that she can be confident and still feel good about herself when she has a smooth scalp. ❤️

Watching this back, a lot of their coworkers were so rude. A lot of people can’t help balding. My mom has cancer and gets chemo and her hair started thinning and falling out in clumps…she was scared of a mole on the side of her head like Keith and honestly if someone ever said “that’s disgusting” honestly isn’t a good person and might get punched.

As a teen with Alopecia I really loved this. People don’t realize, even though I lost my hair when I was really young, I still wonder what it’s like to curl my hair, wash it, try out styles. I do think more people should think that you don’t need hair to be beautiful. #👩🏻🦲AndBeautiful

I think part of the reactions was because when they left some hair on the guy's with a bit of hair left, they left it sticking out in tufts, if it was cut to the shape of their skull it'd look so much better.

@@abialvarez2378 She has a condition called Alopecia areata which causes hair loss in patches, and after dealing with it for a while she made the choice to shave her head. There is a video on it too. Hope that clarifies it.

I came back to this video because I've just found out I have alopecia as a woman in my twenties. Styling my hair around my bald spots is so emotionally draining and I've considered shaving it all off - but seeing how all of their co workers who weren't bald and couldn't relate were making jokes and making fun of them - that was so upsetting. Not embracing this change any time soon

I think (firmly hope) they were playing up for the video. No video would be good if they weren't performing. And I hope that the positive side of the video shows that there is also a healthy dose of compassion and empathy in people. Ultimately, however, you decide your worth. No one can make you feel lesser than without your consent and I hope that half a year down the line you are coming to a place of peace and confidence in yourself ❤
