I ALWAYS wanted to shave my head, since I was a little girl. But people are so judgemental, at my school, in my village, even in my family. So yeah I am scared shitless, but I want to do it so badlyyy, but I don't know if I'm confident enough to take it.

I think every woman should shave her head at least once. The feeling is absolutely freeing. I think so many women are oppressed by their hair because society has told us that it’s more important than it really is.

Meow Meow Kitty I'd do it if I didn't like my hair that much. It's a struggle lol. I mean it annoys me sometimes, it gets greasy easily and stuff but I don't want a short hair cut when it grows back and also I have little wounds in the back of my head and I wanna become a teacher so I guess not

Meow Meow Kitty I did and it was definitely a free feeling. The only thing I hated was the awkward growing in stages but it was so nice not having to wash/condition my hair, no hair in the bathtub etc.

@@leachatee many teachers have short hair. You don't need to shave it bald at your back but you also shouldn't let scars decide your life. Rather than hiding them you should embrace them as a strong and beautiful woman who had the cuts to go for the chop

I think a woman should wear her hair exactly how she wants to. I do not feel oppressed by my long hair. Growing up, my mom would chop all of my hair off when all I wanted to do was grow it long, and she hated long hair. I feel free having wild, long hair and I felt oppressed having a short haircut that didn't fit who I was.

Just go for it!! It's defiantly terrifying but I didn't regret it. Plus, hair grows back - and I get to wear all the hats and wigs if I want to!

It was liberating. I was constantly going back and forth in my head of "should I actually do this?! Should I tell him to leave it at that length? Should I let him go this short??? Omfg" But after it was done, I couldn't stop smiling.

I’ve just subscribed to your channel and I am from the uk. This year in May, like you, I had all my long hair cut off too. I had a pixie cut. I absolutely love it, I don’t regret having my hair short at all. Everything you said about feeling liberated and seeing your friends and family’s reactions is brilliant. You rock your hair cut. 💖😊

Gorgeous!! I shaved off all my hair once with my boyfriend's buzzer one day lol I was just sick of all the damage n stuff. Then after I buzzed it I took some of his shaving cream n got a razor n had a total bald skin head, it was cool i felt like a total Alien princess lol but yea it was definitely like one of the most liberating feelings ever! You look amazing!! I just shaved my head this April and it is such an amazing feeling! I have the video up on this channel and I'm so glad I got the chance to film it. So cool to watch back. I shaved mine right down to my head without a guard on the buzzers and it already has grown so much. Pretty much exactly like you, I had been wanting to for a super long time but never did it. I'm super excited to try out all the hairstyles as it grows out.

He was probably trying to give her an out/make her more comfortable since it was her first time chopping her hair off. At the length he initially cut if she decided she didn't want any shorter he would have just styled it into a bob and called it good.

Amazing. I long ago had long thick hair...cut against my asking. I specifically wanted JUST THE TIP. From waist length cut to my midneck.!😪it messed me up. It grew alittle then life went on .🌺 Chemo took it now it's alittle long. Your final overall reaction was way better than mine was. The expierence as I was cutting it off though I related with! I did mine myself and Finally am feeling comfortable with it after it now being short over three years. The lightness of weight is mainly why I keep it short :) feels so much better than having tons of hair ! But anyways, just thought I'd comment on how lovely your attitude was about the process if chopping it all off!💜💜🖤
