It's not armored...it has a fiberglass body

Those are not all 206’es, some of them are Bv210, a much larger vehicle! Alvis Hägglunds was the name after the acquisition from British company Alvis in 1997. Prior to that it was just AB Hägglund & Söner, from its foundation in 1899 in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, where its factories and development are still located to this day. In 1998 Alvis purchased GKN's armoured vehicle division and Vickers Defence in 2002 to form Alvis Vickers. In September 2004 BAE Systems acquired Alvis Vickers and merged it with its RO Defence ordnance division to form BAE Systems Land Systems. Hägglunds was renamed Land Systems Hägglunds. Production history, Bv206: Hägglund & Söner (1980-1997) Alvis plc (1997-2004) BAE Systems Hägglunds (2004-) Produced: 1980- No. built: 11,000+ (as of 2017).
