That Ducati-red looks a bit too 90's and tacky to my taste, but the Amerigo Vespucci GMT knocked it out of the park! My only doubt is rubber's durability in the long term, but only time will tell. Great video as always, happy holidays from Italy! 🇮🇹🎄🎄

I like the watches a lot, great characteristics. The Amerigo Vespucci version is close to perfection, the Sorayama Variant is also very nice. Hajime Sorayama is a very influential sci-fi illustrator. I remember his Designs on the cover of 80s and 90s magazines very vividly.

Never heard of Sorayama, but I like the clean modern look of the watch.

FP Journe really got me fascinated with aluminum watches, so far all I'm aware of that make them are Bvlgari, FPJ did, not anymore and Timex oddly. I have to concur with most of the comments on the design, I understand that is the way it is but if they were to change one single aspect of it I would very likely seek one out at some point. I have the panda chronograph version. It has 100m water resistance and is just 11mm thick. I can't think of many chronographs that offer so many features at that thickness, at least not in this price range.

So nice to have a sporty watch that does not look like yet another sub/speedmaster clone. I could imagine myself sipping a nice cold beer outside a cafe in St Tropez in the summer wearing one of these.

have seen the Amerigo Vespucci and tried it on, it got beautiful and unique dial, but don't know about the GMT setting and rubber bezel (?) gonna be a challenge in a long run 😅

I love the design on the GMT dial, that beautiful seconds hand. But I'm not sure it's a "bargain" for an aluminium watch with Sellita-based movement when you can get swiss or certain japanese brands for roughly the same price with a lot more effort going into the finishing and materials.

Does aluminium charge color with time like silver or bronze? Thank you.

By he way, there is nothing exotic about 6082 Al. alloy. Its a standard engineering extrusion alloy.
