Staying with a show for FIVE YEARS is wild. Nobody does that. I don't blame her for needing some rest. It's especially crazy that Reeve is STILL with the show. I don't think I knew that they were a couple IRL but that checks out. Happy trails!

Reeve seems so shy and awkward, its almost like he IS Orpheus. This is so sweet. Amber is amazing, Andre rocks, and Patrick is just...phenomenal.

I love Eva. I’m saddened by the fact that I never got to see her live in Hadestwon, but I’m sure I’ll get more opportunities to witness her talent in person one day. She’s got nothing but a bright future ahead of her and I’ll be right there supporting her incredible talent.

I bawled my eyes out for minutes after watching this for the first time. I never got to see Eva but to know she was spectacular and grace the eyes and ears of everyone who watched her gives me hope for broadway going forward and her career and other peoples.

I was lucky enough to see Eva with the original cast. She should be so so proud of herself. She brought the whole production to life. She made Eurydice her own. It will never be the same without Eva.

a huge part of why i wanted to see hadestown in new york was because i wanted to see eva as eurydice. i’m so happy to say i was able to watch her live. she really is a legend. also, the way reeve held her while he was gushing about her made me melt, they’re so sweet together

Beautiful tribute!!! Bawling from watching this. Eva is so talented. So incredible to have watched her grow up in 2 powerful roles..... Saw her both as Kim in Miss Saigon and Eurydice in Hadestown. Both these characters you truly feel the emotional pain she goes through for the man she loves. Such an incredible actress and singer. Her personality on and off stage. Her openness about her mental health. Such a light on this earth. Would love to work with her one day..... get that spirituality to grow as an actor myself. What a beautiful farewell video. I can't stop crying after hearing all those speeches. I got to see Eva only once in Hadestown when it first opened up on Broadway and it was truly an unforgettable experience and magical moment watching her perform on stage. when it was announced that eva was leaving, i posted it on my insta story all emotional, and my best friend bought our group of 3 tickets to see the show and it was so emotional for the fact that she was leaving so soon and that my dear friend thought to do that for the three of us. i didn't go to the final show but i did go and i feel so lucky to have seen her. seeing her live is such a phenomenal experience, i recommend it to everyone who can see her in absolutely any future production

Eva's Eurydice sang me through the hardest years of my life. Her expressive performance of the character's journey was the story I needed to get me through those dark times. I had the unbelievable privilege of seeing her in the role a few weeks before she left the show. I'll never forget her performance. I didn't expect to cry watching this video, but here we are.

My partner and I took a trip to New York 2 weeks ago after they announced will be leaving the production. We saw this production (but with Lila’s White as Hermès) and we cried throughout the entire show! We ended up doing a stage door and every cast member that came out recognized us because we were crying so much lol. We got to meet Eva and Reeve and they talked to us for a while and Eva was so sweet to us. She thanked us for being members of the theatre and for coming to experience and support the show. When she said this to us we couldn’t help but cry and be of shock. We’ve already saw Hadestown on tour twice, but we just had to see Eva and Reeve before it was too late. We love this show much and encourage everyone to not only watch it, but experience it.

I was so sad I couldn't get tickets for the last show, it was sold out well in advance! I did manage to see her twice in the days prior though! Scored tickets for the Tuesday show then won the lottery for the Thursday show. Still wish I was able to catch her last one though! This situation makes me so sad. Not because she’s leaving - I think that’s a very healthy and necessary move - but because she had to endure years of the show when she hated it. It took a physical and mental toll on her, and I can’t enjoy the show if I know that the actors weren’t happy.
