LCW got higher chance to win RIO 2016 gold as not being world #1 , so he might feel there was nothing to lose

I am happy to see that Lee Chong Wei seems to play more often at the net than before. I think that it's a good skill that he should continue to work on. When he was playing against Lin Dan in 2011-2013, he was not able to control the net and it was an advantage for Lin Dan. Lin Dan is a great net player. I am curious to see the next games of Lee Chong Wei. Congratulations Lee! Keep it up!

+toastersman217 LCW has been doing net play. He did beat LD at some really good net plays in WC 2011 and even Morten Frost was talking about that during the match. But overall he couldnt out play LD in the net back then. He lost that net skill after the doping ban but he gained that back now.

At 11:27 Lee Chong Wei's smash was 397 kph.. Is that faster than Taufik Hidiyat's fastest smash? :O
@pham1020
@pham1020 8 жыл бұрын
+Diego Savage Not sure about that because the current speed measurement technology is different with the old technology as they explained that those old speed record from Hidayat and Fu haifeng could be faster than that measured speed. And LD had a 399 kph in a match in Japan open this yr as well.

Oh I see.. And Fu Hai Feng doesn't count since he's a doubles player XD. Only looking out for singles smashes.

@@diegosavage93 Hawkeye system measures the initial speed of the shuttle as it leaves the racquet I think. So 400+ isnt a problem for top single players. Lee himself has the record for singles from 2017 till today, at 417 km/h. He had smashes like 402, 404…

LCW WAS DEFINITELY AN ALL-TIME MALAYSIAN GREAT.WONG PENG SOON COULD HAVE BEEN BUT HE ROBBED HIMSELF OF THIS DISTINCTION WHEN HE BECAME A SINGAPOREAN.

Some people says that LCW only wins titles when he takes dope, which boost his energy levels as the matches prolongs whilsts his opponents tires up dramatically during the latter stages of long rallies. Does this also means that Lin Dan are also are on PEDSs since he more often then not always beats LCW in major finals??
