Congratulations Yuta and Arisa!! Honestly Arisa is the most aggressive female player I’ve ever seen. Gotta agree with the commentator saying the amount of metres she’s running even when she’s not involved 😂 but she’s really fast, and especially in XD, that’s quite impressive. No current female player can beat her speed, not even yaqiong. And not to mention those jump smashes 🤯 if she improves her defensive skills a lil bit, then she’ll be MORE powerful. Yuta on the other hand, is just amazing as usual. His dropshots, racket skills, everything he does is just - wow. Both of them are such promising players. Excited to see their performances in the future ✨

They closed the comment section for Men single. And we all know why. A controversial ending indeed. I know that it's unfair, but I hope people can refrain cursing the people behind the screen. The umpire made mistake. I mean, people make mistake. Let's just hope that he would face the consequences fairly. And I hope Ginting would get the apology he deserves. This incident is a strong blow for BWF that there is a need of a better system for things like that. I bet this is not the first time it happened? But it doesn't often happen during a match point. Usually it costs a point but this one immediately snatched away Ginting's chance to victory. Call it, luck is just not on his side. So let's trust them to fix the problem so the game could be played more fairly in the future! I really feel for Ginting though. Sure, it doesn't guarantee his win. But at least he won't feel like he's robbed if he lost by his own hand. And even though Lee Cheuk Yiu was delighted he won his first title, this will be noted as an unfair win for the rest of his career and it's not even his fault. Not that satisfying of a win if I could say. Ginting fought back in every match. Marvelously. And after all the sweat he poured out.... If we feel this bad, imagine how he would feel

Sorry if im mistaken. Do you mean the last point of the match? I myself love ginting especially he was one of the few beaten momota this year, undeniably strong. However, the replay from the side of the net does look like gintings racket crossed over the net. I watched it again and again and even screenshot the moment. I was just curious if im mistaken. Really bad i cant post picture in comment section....

@@wuoliver3847 that would be okay if the shuttle have crossed the net. You should pay attention on shuttle not on the racket. So, as long as the racket not hitting the net, that must be no foul eventho the racket crossed the net. Thats what i learned from the rule. Pardon my english btw

the chinese played really well in the opening game but lost confidence in themselves i believe :/ they will do better in the future, i am sure of it ^^ higashino was fire at the net :D and i am always happy to see watanabe winning ^^ congratulations to both teams :)

To BWF, Please follow up about the wrong decision that the judge did about Anthony S. Ginting with Lee yesterday at Final Hongkong SS. Was it really fault? Please watch the Video detailly. Many netizens don't agree about this decision. You have to bring this matter to your higher leader or to who has the right of it. To be honest we were very disappointed about this. Thank you

Perasaan pemain yang pernah diperlakukan tidak adil dengan keputusan wasit g cuman ginting doang. Dan ingat ginting belum tentu menang loh walau itu g di fault juga. Kecewa boleh tapi jangan barbar. Klo saja ginting main bisa lebih fokus minim eror mungkin bisa 2 set langsung. Tapi yah tau sendiri maennya ginting kaya gimana. Ini pelajaran buat dia harus fokus sama erornya di minimalis. Toh mau protes segimana juga g akan merubah hasil.

I think these calls are incredibly difficult to make, the speed is much higher than club badminton. We need technology to solve the problem.

A youtube comment section is probably not exactly the perfect place for suggestion on how BWF can improve our beloved sport technology to reduce human error introduced by umpires. BUT if there exists such a thing as "Hawkeye" (basically slow motion replay available at all times) that any athlete can use to "challenge" a line judge's decision, then why is there no such challenge system in place for judgements made at the net, when it comes to whether or not an athlete touched the net versus the shuttle, or if a shuttle was taken too early?

Janganlah komen terlalu bar bar wahai anak muda. Hilaf wasit juga bukan sekali ini terjadi dan bukan cuma ginting yg kena banyak juga lagi pun masih bnyak turnamen yg bisa d menangkan lainya. kalo seandainya itu ga d fault juga bukan jaminan kalo ginting menang. yang udah udah mari tatap masa depan di turnamen lainya. dan yg bilang ini krna tuan rumah coba kita cek ricek lagi saat indonesia open kek gini juga sering terjadi.. kemaren juga d france open sama Saat adcock lawan Seo/Chae..
