On the topic of seeing things for ourselves, I too tend to look for or want understanding. I’m trying to practice knowing the trustworthiness of my God rather than knowing what exactly He’s going to do about any given situation. Because the point of believing is to continue trusting even if the evidence is invisible or intangible. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be faith. Thank you for this lesson. God Bless 💕🙏🏽

This passage was written for me! I am a black and white type of person and I like to see evidence standing in front for me to make a decision about anything. Walking by faith challenges me and I think that’s the point. Believe in someone whom I haven’t seen with my eyes but know about by what others say and by the Bible. God connects with me in other ways and if I’m smart enough to recognise His hand in my life, that is evidence enough.

One of my biggest troubles with faith is believing authorship in the Bible, specially the Old Testament. It was written so long ago that we don't know how much it has been tampered with. Also I wonder when prophets write, like Paul himself, how much is direct word of God and how much is it simply Paul's thoughts.

We have men's Bible Study every Tuesday. This past week I got some looks when I said that I don't know God exists. I believe he does, but that is what faith is all about. It can be hard sometimes because we all have different ideas or understand the meanings of words differently.
