Great message contrasting pride and humility. In Proverbs 29:23 NKJV ‘A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.’ Like you said honor follows humility and this verse supports that idea. Boasting of ourselves brings man down in the eyes of the LORD. God looks upon the humble with honor and this leads to wisdom. Pride and humility are quite the opposite!
