There is no ghost of a chance for the England team to draw the nest test. They are beaten in all fields. They are morally down , game wise nowhere near competence. Probably this battering in the hands of aussies will remain a night mare for England team for time to come😀😀😀

I was there at the SCG for Day 5. Such an amazing atmosphere irrespective of the Covid situation. The crowd went bonkers after Smith got a wicket. Test cricket delivers yet again and I am so thankful to watch an Ashes test Down under.

Every ball of every game Ben Stokes treats as if it's life and death. I'm surprised he's made it this far in the series as he nearly bowled himself to death in Adelaide. If his workload wasn't so great he would make an ideal 'lead from the front' type captain a la Allan Border. Stokes has an indomitable spirit.

That was really tense there towards the end. Well done to both sides for a close finish & congratulations to England for fighting out a draw. It shows gritty determination which can go a long way in shaping a quality side that will soon have to look to the future with both Broad & Anderson reaching the twilight of their careers. I think we will see big list changes for both sides for the last test. Not just because of injuries but just for the sake of resting players.

Australia mostly won't change because they are in contention for top 2 spots in WTC. England though are in the bottom. Especially with Cummins being the captain, starc won't agree if you say him you aren't playing because it is a pink ball test. You cannot take Boland out.

Bairstow and Khawaja's games mirrored each other. Both recalled in their 30's b/c of unavailability and form, both scored beautiful tons. Had either failed, I doubt we'd see them in tests again. Great game of cricket.

Smith tried to bowl the last delivery into that rough patch but ended up bowling a real short one. Lucky for Anderson, probably one of the easiest deliveries he would have faced in his batting career!

Finally, England has shown some intent in the Ashes for the first time, I hope they can continue this momentum in the next match. It doesn't even matter if they win the match, it would just be nice for them to put up a fight.

England have shown intent all series, they have just been up against a much better opponent. If I run against Usain Bolt it won't be a lack of intent that is my problem.

Despite the result, what a great game of test cricket...kudos to the Poms for sticking it out for the day, and some stellar innings from Crawley, Stokes and Bairstow again. Damn our Sydney weather, those 7 lost overs could've mad a hugoe difference. And once again Boland and Cummins with some awesome bowling...you could never hope to see a better game of cricket...for the sake of the game!!!! Bring on Hobart 😁😁
