It isn't everyone in the NBA today but the quality has gone down significantly in many ways. Star players get special treatment by officials and coaches and the league, in general. They don't play all 82 games most of the time, they don't get called on travels when they should and they flop. MJ still the GOAT, especially considering the greats he played around the same time of!

I don’t watch the NBA anymore for reasons just like this. I seem to remember years ago , I think it was the start of the playoffs but maybe the start of the season the Referees started to call traveling & it was unwatchable because there was a continual stoppage of play for the numerous traveling or carrying the ball over violations.

kyle korver's was clean because he took his 2 and then he kept his feet on the ground even if he fell backwards, and he got rid of the ball before he hit the floor

Some of these start counting steps when they jump to catch the ball and are landing. There are some blatant travels but some count them establishing position as extra steps lol.

Some of these are counting the steps before the gather. The steps don’t start counting after the last dribble they start getting counted after the gather. 5:32 is a good example of this he maybe took three steps but not seven

The crazy thing is that in NBA rules some of these aren’t travels. Until a player puts their hand under the ball or picks up the ball you can take as many steps as you want with a live dribble.

Also, when does the first step happen in relation to the ball coming to rest in the dribbler's hand(s) or someone receiving a pass and coming to a stop...? Some of the plays in this video are not travels considering the NBA uses the Zero-1-2 principle; it doesn't matter whether you agree, that is the rule and more people should actually try to understand what the rules are if they are going to complain about them.
