great tutorial. I've been off and on illustrator for at least a decade and this video i feel brought me up to speed with the shape tool and honestly, i never knew or cared for the curvature tool, and now i do! also the amount to useful shortcuts is absolutely satisfying. Thank you.

I came here from EnvatoTuts and your sweet energy made me subscribe. Illustrator is really overwhelming but I watched the whole of your introductory course and it actually made me excited to try. Your enthusiasm is infectious! I don't know if I would even class myself as a beginner but I wanted to come hang out with you for a second video as I feel like I'm learning a lot.
