I bought the 10th Generation iPad, the Apple Pencil, and the the new keyboard and I couldn’t be happier with them. So many people are making a big deal about the charging of the pencil. The pencil holds a charge for a long time so it really isn’t a big deal on charging it. The new keyboard is better than any other Apple Keyboard. I have no regrets buying it.

Because the pencil situation is a big deal!!! The way it is now is very inconvenient and having something go from convenient to inconvenient isn’t something anybody likes, guaranteed they will revert back next year.

@@rossrobson91 not everyone needs an Apple Pencil. Any cheap stylus can be a pointer for you to tap stuff, and the cheaper Logitech crayon uses apple tech, and Apple Pencil tip. So it’s great for note taking and charges normally with usb c. If you use it for drawing then yeah the other iPads are better, but not everyone is an artist. To be fair if I wasn’t using it for drawing, this a compelling device, because the folio keyboard to me seems better than the Magic Keyboard and is cheaper.

What many people don’t understand is that if you maybe wanted to upgrade from an older iPad such as air 3 or even iPad 7 or 6, and you already own a 1st gen apple Pencil ,then it does make sense to save money by buying the 10th gen iPad. You don’t have to spend another 100$ on another Pencil .

All the reviewers are being so hard on this poor iPad 10th Gen, but trust me it's actually so good, especially for a student. The screen is wider on this one, and the display is good, the camera quality (for online classes and scanning) is also really better than the 9th Generation one. Plus, what they're making a big deal about is apparently the Pencil charging thing, which, according to me, shouldn't even be such a headache. Because firstly, the pencil holds the charge for a long long time, and if you get it to 100% once it's gonna last you for ages before you'll need to charge it. Also, this one's got built in 5G, and WiFi 6, which is also a plus point. The design of this one is so much similar to the iPad Air, it's the twin of iPad Air, frankly. But overall, what I *really* love about this iPad is the number of colors you can pick from. Blue, yellow, pink, white- they're all really cute colours and I've got the yellow one so I'm perfectly happy with my yellow iPad :)

I bought the iPad 10th gen and the Apple Pencil 1st Gen and it is absolutely awesome! the charging situation isn't all that bad and the iPad has never really frozen up! I have done video editing, tons of homework, KZfaq, etc. and it's absolutely awesome!

I did buy one in blue and I am loving it. I also love the fact that I didn't have to buy a new Pencil. I bought a 3rd party case with room for the Pencil and use it in combination with my Logitec K380 Keyboard that I was using with my old 6th gen ipad. It was a perfect upgrade in my case.

I got this iPad a few months ago, about 2/3 weeks after it came out, i bought the Logitech crayon and combo touch for it, and i actually am in love with it, i use it for my content creation, meetings for work etc. honestly i love it and it was well worth the slightly higher price for me than it would have been for the 9th generation. Considering before this iPad, i had the iPad Air 2nd generation, so much better, much more usable by far and everything is so smooth and works flawlessly

I fully agree - the iPad lineup right now is quite weird. But I have to admit - I kind of like the fact that Apple "dares" a bit more again. It is very hard to argue that the lineup is boring now with the different colors, screen sizes, pencils and so on. I kind of like it even though it is quirky. :) Love your videos

I upgraded from my 5th Gen iPad. I love the blue color I got, and it makes a nice complement to my 3rd Gen iPad Air until they rev it again. Having wi-fi 6 and 5G makes it worth having for my limited mobile needs. I financed it through a carrier and that of course means a Data plan. I did cancel my data plan on my iPad Air and a landline form the same company so that will cover the cost of the data plan. I went with a third-party cover since I intend to get the magic keyboard eventually and so I am saving money for that. The keyboard I got for my iPad air failed about a year after I got it. No warranty coverage or recall. The replacement cost was twice what I paid for it initially, so I decided to save the money for a new tablet instead.

I'm not too sure why people are asking not to buy the iPad 10th generation. I have enough for one and will be upgrading from my iPad 2 from 2015 to the iPad 10th generation. to anyone who is gonna reply to my comment, please don't make fun of me for having an iPad that released 10 or 11 years ago. We didn't have enough money to get the iPad we all wanted. I do not use it anymore because of how terrible it is now, but I am super excited to get the iPad 10th generation. the colors look amazing and I can't wait to have it.

Going from a cheap android tablet from 2018, I was considering the iPad 10th gen, but I really liked the older design of the 9th gen and the headphone jack and the pencil just snapping onto the port was a necessity. Not a bad tablet, but the headphone jack and how the apple pencil charges that's a deal-breaker. Really like the new colours the new iPad comes in.

I just got the iPad 10th gen for Xmas and so far I love it! I hope to get the keyboard and Apple Pencil to go with it. I enjoy animating a lot and I think this iPad does a really nice job for any digital artist out there. There’s also a screen protector you can buy that makes the screen feel like paper. So basically when drawing or writing with that screen protector it can make it much more comfortable then just the normal screen. Having that friction in my option really helps and very unique for a screen protector. Just my thoughts but I have no regrets with this iPad

Some people complain about the "air gap on the 10th gen, but wouldn't a screen protector cause the same issue on the other iPad that have laminated screens?

The side camera is a win in my mind, and if I didn't already have an iPad Mini 6 this would be the tablet for me. The weird pencil setup is a non-issue for me, I don't use one, and I would likely opt for a 3rd party case/keyboard.

Looking to upgrade from 7th gen to the 10th gen 2022. To me it would be worth it. I don't use IPAD at all for pencil, or drawing so the flaws with the pencil doesn't hurt me. I use for watching movies, shows, surfing web etc.. Your opinion on the upgrade?

I have an ipad 5th generation and was really looking forward to getting the 10th to go with my new blue imac. It’s a small point but I’m really disappointed it doesn’t have the option of a white bezel, the black looks out of place to me, it doesn’t go with the Imac or the new keyboard cover. I know everyone moaned about the white on the Imac but I really don’t find it a problem designing. So, thanks for another clear video that makes a lot of sense and for pointing out the limitation of the (really expensive keyboard) as I sit with it on my lap often. It would be great if next year they correct all the problems and still keep the price down.

I just ordered the blue version I’m upgrading from my 2018 ipad. This one is good enough for what I use it for, no need to spend the extra money on an air or pro model.

I love this iPad too. I bought an iPad Air 5, although I'll probably never need the full power of the M1. I would be more than satisfied with the iPad 8th generation. I'm actually German, but I like English videos because most of them are of great quality.

I have an iPad 10 and it’s serving me well! If I had more money, I would’ve gotten an iPad Pro but my Dad needed a newer iPad for work as his old Mini can’t run certain apps he needs. Therefore, I got myself an iPad 10 and let him have my iPad Air 3! Attaching your Apple Pencil to an adaptor is cumbersome, I can’t deny, but it still beats shelling out over £100 for a whole new Apple Pencil!

Got a $20 usb c pencil and it does stick magnetically above the camera.. also the a14 gpu is better than I expected in the bigger ipad housing

I dont know why it is a probblem to charge the pencil with cable?... i charge my ipad, iphone and headphones with cable... so why not the pencil? .. and have the front camera in right place as bonus? I also think that Apple was thinking that this 10th gen was suppost to be the cheapest ipad but delayed retirement the old 10,2 because many still like the good old button. The ipad that i dont understand in the line-up is the Ipad Air. It is so close to Ipad Pro in price and many things, but lacking the most important thing af all Ipads... the 120 hz screen🤔 Daily use on 10th gen and Air you dont see any diffirent other than better front camera on the ceaper one

I agree a cradle clip on the back panel of the keyboard cover would have been great or even have it with an L-shaped attachment so it leaves the pencil in the cradle on the edge of the iPad and Velcro it on so its removable

I am still using a 6th Generation iPad with 1st Gen pencil for emails, web, KZfaq, notes…. It still serves its purpose for those tasks for me…. I also however, use a 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 4th Gen…… for all my other tasks….or if I need more screen real estate etc

After researching a bit, I am picking up the 10th generation IPad over the Pro for work and some leisure (FaceTime and Garage band). I am otherwise an Android user and my entire family use Apple phones. Also, I want to review plans for work while I am at a job site or remote meeting. I've always enjoyed the use of a pencil with my Samsung Note and so I'm looking forward to taking notes and drawing sketches on the IPad and ditching the paper since I simply scan my hand sketches for work anyway.

Love it, big upgrade over my Gen 5 9.7. I’d still be using the Gen 5 but I dropped it one too many times. I don’t use pencil or keyboard so those were non-issues for me.

I bought the keyboard and 5G. It is my first iPad and I think it is a great option that is mobile and functional with the keyboard. I agree that the pen is strange because there is no place to attach it and the way it charges.

I currently have a generation 6 iPad and I feel it's time to upgrade. Logitech makes a really good keyboard cover that's almost half the price of the magic keyboard, so I'm getting that one instead. The more expensive models are more than I need. I have the first gen. Pencil and don't want to pay extra for the 2nd gen. So this one seems perfect for me.

It’s for those who still use an ipad with pencil 1 , if they want to upgrade, based on the features it’s technically the same as the recent ipads so why upgrade? A lot of people uses the ipad but are still practical different from those who sells and upgrade whenever a new one comes out.

The fact that nobody knew it had storage magnets until a few months ago blows my mind. Edit: they only work on the USBC Apple Pencil

I need the usb c port, so, with the 9th gen, i would have to buy the 40 usd adapter, bumping the price to 370. This makes the price difference comes to 90 bucks. Then, for 90 dollars, i have the landscape camera, the dual set speakers and the new design, among other stuff. Just ordered my silver 10th gen for 399 on best buy!

The pencil was practically a dealbreaker for me... that was until I realized that Logitech made a new Crayon that uses USB-C and a new Logitech Combo Touch case and keyboard (the white one from Apple is hideous). I ended up buying a 10th gen iPad with LTE and the case and crayon from Logitech. Those products together make me quite happy.

I bought my wife this iPad for her birthday and also purchased the JamJake pencil which cost just £32.She absolutely loves it, and seeing as she only wants the pen for note taking, she’s more than happy with the pencil she has.

I have an m1 iPad pro with the logitech combo touch. And I am honestly angry about the two new iPads. If the m2 pro has got the centered front camera, I wouldve considered upgrading actually, because I do a lot of video calls on my iPad. But buying an iPad thats way worse in general specs and has no face ID, just for the camera position, wouldnt make sense either. So I`ll just stick to my current one and wait for the next releases.

I'm gonna buy my first tablet from apple and I really need to know this as a language student. Cuz if they don't have this for air then i'll buy 10th generation.

I also have bought one for me, so far I have enjoyed the device, I was wondering if any usb c hub would work with it. A basically need to share my screen for presentations and have a usb a port, if I buy a thunderbolt usb c hub, will it work but with less speed or should look for a hub specific for it? I’m trying to avoid apple’s adapter because here in Brazil the price it’s just nonsense

A good way to solve the pencil problem is by not getting the Apple Pencil. There's just as good 3rd party alternatives that are cheaper than quite frankly make more sense than buying either of Apples choices. I also wouldn't get the type cover. It just doesn't make sense $ wise.

I have the iPad pro 4th generation. In '21 or '22 Logitech releases a keyboard system for the 12.9 tablet. It's very much like your keyboard. I got it because it was the only keyboard licensed by Apple to build around their connector mechanisms; it's charged by the iPad. The other selling point for me is the inclusion of functionkeys. It has a very responsive touch pad. The keyboard system is really for later models of the 12.9 devices but outside of some speaker wholes misalignment, the fit and the strudiness are what I was in the market for. Last point for me: the case offers complete surrounding for the iPad leaving only a slot for the Apple pencil 2. I don't recall if you mentioned this feature but the Logitech keyboard is backlit with adjustable level on a dimmer style. If Apple had this type of keyboard, I likely would have saved up to buy it. I'm happy to see Apple including this type of keyboard and I hope they continue to expand availability to other of their tablets. I'll need watching. I enjoyed your review. Thanks.

Another great video with added feline action 😉. I'm more than a little disappointed with Apple of late. Their products are generally well made but of late their product line up doesn't make much sense and nor do their prices. Having been an Apple fan for years I recently made the decision to move away and enter the dark side. The Pixel Pro 7 is a really good phone and as I pre ordered I got the pixel watch for free. Rant over, have a lovely week.

I mean why this over an iPad Air 4 ? Its way better than this iPad. Infact its price is even lower than this one during sale. It has all the things that this miss!

And now at this point- at least over the holiday weekend here in the US- the iPad Air 5th gen can be purchased for only $499. Sure, the 10th gen iPad is also on sale for as low as $420, so it's still cheaper- but it seems to make sense to spend the $499 for an Air to get the M1 chip and double the RAM.

I’ve never owned an iPad. If I were to purchase one it would most likely be the newer model. I would only use it to watch movies while out on the road. Then again my phone already does that so….🤷🏻♂️

The inability to use the keyboard on my lap combined with the lack of a dedicated charging port makes it a no go for me. I have the Logitech Combo Touch for the iPad Pro and I don’t use it for those 2 reasons, despite it having a row of function keys…

Wow a Reviewer who doesn't have "Reviewer TikTok brain" ... where you basically trash a product because its not the latest Ipad Pro Ultra Mega wiith the new updated Giga Magsafe Platinum M3 Ultra Max chipset ... I would say this ipad would work for 99.9% of people... But sure keep the copium and tell yourself this iPad is worthless and that you need the Giga M3 Ultra chipset.

If you need to pay 250$ for a keyboard accessory for a tablet.. might aswell get a real computer... Sure the iPad is great for portability and media consumption, but you dont need a 250$ keyboard to do that.. if your getting a keyboard with an iPad, your trying to turn it into a computer... which tbh not even the M2 iPad Pros can achieve.. I'd rather just get the iPad for media but thats just my opinion 🙂

I bought this iPad and the $250 keyboard. I had a MacBook Air that just died. The combination of the iPad and keyboard is WAY LESS expensive than the MacBook Air. IMO

IPad 10 ( A 14 ) is trash , Air 4 ( A14) is better , IPad 9 cost 280 bucks like keyboard price for iPad 10 . And no laminated screen in 2023 is bad joke and for 450 bucks looks strange , IPad mini 6 is cool ( but problem with screen , hope in IPad mini 7 will be normal screen without problem to read ) . And no 128 Gb memory and Stage manager with laminated screen is time to buy better IPad Pro m1 with 128, Air 4 or IPad 9 256 Gb + lte . IPad 10 is rich unloved Air 5,4 ( colours say more ) and accessories from iPad Air 4,5 don’t work with iPad 10 . Apple Pencil 1 is normal , but 10 bucks is stupid to buy . Type C with 480 Gb like lighting is big laught , Air 4 have 5 Gb can transfer files speed . And this IPad no revolution , it’s bad created IPad with poor screen , that makes poor , that before was rich Liqued Retina from IPad Pro 2018 . It’s sad and makes other IPads looks better and makes sense buy
