Agreed, but there was 1 or 2 questionable calls against OSU also against the Sooners, I was born and live on Oklahoma soil, I cheer for all Oklahoma teams to win unless they play against OSU.

It's never easy going from mid-major to a power five conference. I'm saying that as a Utah fan. First three seasons in the Pac-12 featured two 5-7 seasons. It was brutal.

BYU's offense the 2nd half did a good job burning clock after Batty's stop and Heckard's interception. They just needed to burn some more clock from additional 3rd down conversions, even if they didn't score. Yes, BYU didn't score until late in the 4th quarter.

As a lifelong BYU fan I sympathize and I’ve seen plenty of soul crushing and heart breaking losses myself. The 2019 Utah game and the last two games of 1990 (especially Texas A&M) are near the top for me. 2012 also had some incredibly frustrating losses, including Utah, Boise State, San Jose State, and Notre Dame. Cougar nation will go on. Now that the bump the program got from COVID is well behind us, it will be interesting to see how they look into spring and fall. I love Coach Sitake and his culture of love and learn.

The Sooners played pretty terrible when they needed to show up for sure. That being said if you think that obvious call in the end zone didn’t alter the bedlam game it shows how much of a biased imbecile you are. The pokes are extremely lucky to be in the championship. They will most likely get stomped bad by Texas. No more bedlam Super Bowl for OSU. I think OU fans are ok with the sea of wins compared to a few nail biter losses to the orange goat ropers.

Aggressive play calling all day, until you think you can hold on, and then you play conservatively till the wheels fall off. I don't mind losing to OSU at all...they're a good team. Suggesting the coach made good calls in the second half is a bit of a stretch. If this is user-qp6ep1lc5n's point, then it appears fairly valid.

By the new playoff rules that’s an actual impossibility. The 6 highest ranked conference champs, so that includes the (soon to be irrelevant term) non-P5. And the death of the Pac12 it shakes that up even more. It’s absolutely laughable to think the SEC is even capable of producing 7 playoff teams, or any conference for that matter.

OU should've played better football 🤷🏾‍♀️ at least one of the teams in the Big 12 Championship will actually be representing the Big 12

@@elise7808yes, OU should’ve played better and beaten OSU. Doesn’t change the fact that this is now an incredibly unappealing game as no one cares about seeing a lousy OSU team. Again, this is a team that got beat 33-7 by South Alabama and 45-3 to Central Florida. There’s a reason why the SEC wants those two and couldn’t care less about OSU. I’m not a a fan of any of these teams, just a fan of the sport and would have liked to see them two go at it one last time before moving to the SEC.

@@kylegross1081 well, this fan will be watching. And yeah their season should've ended when they lost to Southern Alabama. I was at that game too and it was rough. But they fought hard, figured stuff out, and went on to win their way into the championship. Thats all I can ask as a fan. And despite OU being salty about everything OSU, I'll be cheering for them in the SEC and wish them luck (especially against Texas).
